I'm curious about how often Mylot earnings are updated. My contribution to Mylot for the last 2 days is not reflected in my earnings. It's like there has been no earnings at all. Anyone had this experience before?

I've noticed that mylot now gets delayed in updating our earnings, it can take about a day or two to update. Before it wasnt like this. Maybe due to the influx of new members that their system gets delayed in updating. It even occured to me that even if i replied to some discussions, i got zero for that day. So since im a mylot member for quite some time now, and that's the first time i noticed that they they made a mistake in calculating my earnings, i wrote to the mylot staff. Unfortunately, i never received a reply. So there, i hope my input helps. Its now 'normal' for mylot to have delays in updating payments every now and then.

Thanks! That sort of answers my question. But how has your earnings in mylot been so far?

Thanks for the best response. Regarding my earnings, i just wrote to mylot coz it has been already updated, but for sunday, july 18, my earnings were zero when in fact i even started a discussion and replied to other discussions as well. This is the 2nd or 3rd time that i got a zero for that day when in fact i posted that day. The 1st time that i wrote i received no reply. I've now noticed that since mylot is experiencing a couple of delayed updates, the date on my earnings calendar is now jumbled depending on how it was tabulated and computed. Before it was the usual sunday to saturday, but now its monday, then skips to thurs. Then goes back to wed., etc. I noticed that i suddenly got a 1 cent increase and when i checked my earning stats, that 1 cent was credited to a post that i made a day or two ago. So mylot is now pretty erratic when updating and computing our earnings. 3 weeks ago, i posted around 5x and i got zero for that. Really odd since it has never been this way before.

Well, its already july 19 here in my country and it says that my earnings were updated 9 hours ago. Normally, when i wake up the next day, i usually see what ive i've earned for that day, and what i post today will be credited at around midnight later(phil. time). But now, upon reviewing my earning stats, even what i have posted last saturday or friday wasnt credited. So.. The only thing that i can do is wait if they would still update. Like i said in my earlier post, i found a 1 cent increase when i havent posted anything that day, and i saw that 1 cent credited to a post i made days ago. I think the cause of this delay is the rapidly growing number of sign-ups. Last june i think the mylot population is around 205,000+, now its about 210,000+ already.

Sometimes the update takes a longer time during the weekends. This could be due to more myLotters being active on the site. I had a look at your posts. I may sound patronising or overbearing but I notice that your posts tend to be short. MyLot is a discussion site so members are expected to make posts with substance. This is different from sites where members can earn by chatting or posting short sentences. Your experience is not unique. Give some time to get to know myLot, and you may not regret it.

i can my earnings dialy.. usually it takes only 1 day to update the money you have earned., but sometimes i remember it takes more than a day or two to get updated.. i dont know the reason.. may be it is because of the delay in database update or something.. as mylot is a real site.. no need to worry..

Check the clock at the bottom of the page. That is the time in myLot's time zone and EVERYTHING is based on that, not on the time where we are. Then read here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#16 Then check at the bottom of your 'earnings' page and it will say the same as on everyone elses. Mine right now says this: "participation and referral earnings last updated 19 hours ago". When earnings next update they will reflect your earnings for your posts up to midnight yesterday, on myLot's time zone. They will probably update within 5-6 hours.

Earning money in mylot can be really tough. What you post and how well you respond to other's discussion matters a lot. You have to come regularly to mylot if you want to earn some money. If you see various people's websites then you can see that many have posted their own links here and they can help you to earn money a lot. It's just a matter of patience.
