Hi myLotters, would you be so generous enough to give advice, I'm planning to build my own website just for promotional purposes, I'm thinking to just sign-up for those free website maker since I got no money. ^.^ Is this a good idea? or should i just fund it myself for those paid services? if you got any recommendations for good domain and host provider (free and paid) please do share. thank you!

I am working on a "splash page" creation thing on my site if you're interested it's to help promote stuff on our site and get paid for it, and for you to be able to promote your own stuff as well. That's a bit out of the ways for development though so in the mean time.. there are "traffic exchanges" and other sites if you look long enough that allow you to create free splash pages with referral links n' whatnot. They do seem to work well as one of the top referrers on my site uses a few of them & that's his main promotional method sooo.

free web also nice to support the marketing strategy that you do as long as you do it consistently. Consistent is what I mean is that you are serious about designing the look and make convenience for the visitors to contact you

Take a look at www.devhub.com Unlike most of the free website editors there are no hidden costs here and it is an easy drag and drop interface. It is the one that I have been using for a year now and I have consistently made money with the sites I have built there.
