mylot earnings

I feel there is not much I can make here in mylot. The reason is the exchange rate. If it is in American dollars it won't make much of a difference because I am in Malaysia. I do not know if there are others who share the same views.

I suggest that you try a combination of other websites like myLot. One site may not make much of a difference, but several would.

Thanks a lot Pauline54. You are an encouragement. But I sometimes feel all these sites may not be authentic. I used to spend hours in front of my PC writing and editing my work for writing campus. I earned nothing but also lost all my writings. It was one of the saddest moments of my life. I did not have a backup and it was a waste as all that writing just disappeared. I only hope no one stole them. Vijayanth, one of the mylotters also experienced this.

I also began writing for shvoong.com. So far it is ok. But, it is not original writing. It is for summaries, translations and comments on published authors' work.

It's a good thing that myLot exists, people get to share what works and what are scams. I've actually had my fair share of bad experiences with online work websites.

It's not bad at all that you earn a little or nothing at all. mylot is already a big help for us to have extra income but same with me i'm only new in here and still struggling i don't know what to do, it will take time i guess .

Yes, to make a few dollars it will definitely take time. But I do not know whether we get money from the responses and the replies? Here again, whether the person who responds also makes money? It will be good if both parties make money according to the number of times we partake in a discussion. Otherwise it is just waste of time and money sitting in front of the PC

YOU earn for everything that YOU type. I earn for everything that I type. We are told in the FAQs that if we don't post we don't earn which also proves that if others post, they earn not us.

I guess it is a case of pleasing some people all of the time and everyone some of the time. My grandfather taught me that if we look after the pennies then the pounds will look after themselves. I have found that to be the case and I am perfectly happy to see all the small, and not so small, amounts adding up in my Paypal

At least we have someone here who is content with her/his share of the earnings. Thanks for your response
