Always planning on saving money, Ending up spending it All

I would always say to myself to spend wisely and save money so that I could buy some stuffs later on but I always turn out to be spending all my money in useless things. I tried to control but I think I am getting carried away and I would forget that I am saving money. Do you have tips on saving money?

I understand what you mean lol. Don't most of us do this? I am guilty of this myself lol. But since last month I opened a passbook account at the bank. I choose passbook because I cannot easily withdraw the money I have to stand in line and wait for my turn as many depositors transact business and since I am not patient at falling in line I would be discouraged withdrawing money. My spending money I keep it in my debit card so I can easily access it and I keep an emergency money with an atm.

What could you do? Save all your change or the smallest bill in a jar that's out of sight. If your pay is direct deposit you could have the deposit split into your checking & some into savings or if they allow you to split your deposit between 2 different places have say $20 a week put in the savings account at a bank that is inconvient for you to get to and the net into your checking account.
Find other things to do that don't cost money or tempt you to go shopping for things other than necessities. My hubby would say I"m bored lets go to this or that store and we'd end up spending money we didn't have to spend cause we'd find good deals. So we only go to the stores now with a purpose and only get what we came their for and write a list & try to stick to it.

We decided about a year ago to start putting about $200 of hubby's paycheck into a savings account in a bank that was inconvenient for us.. and we don't have an ATM card for that account either. We did this so that we'd save our rent money for the month and not have to struggle on the day rent is due in order to pay it.. Unfortunately not once have we actually left that money in the account. Friday comes, we get some in the savings and the rest in the checking.. and we immediately go to the savings account and take the money out.. usually because everything in our checking is going to bills and covering overdraws so we need the savings money for groceries and gas and other stuff. If we do manage to leave it in there we'll go later in the week and get it out for spending money. We're just terrible about saving!!
One time I decided to start a savings account without telling hubby.. I figured if he didn't know he couldn't help convince me to use it... unfortunately everytime I'd get a little in there, I'd decide to take it out and spend it on something silly.

its really hard to save money now a days as the more money we have then the more things we want to buy from it. a lot of temptation if we have a lot of money. if you really want to save money then open a time deposit so you cant just take your money anytime since theres a particular year of when will you able to to get it.

I love saving money so this is no issue for me at all. However, my husband cannot save for anything! What he does is gives the money to me because he knows I will save it.
If you trust anyone around you and they won't give the money right back to you, maybe ask someone to hold it for you until you really need it for something. Tell them to hold it until you have whatever amount you want and then give it to you for something important. For example, if your goal is $50, tell them not to give you the money until you have this amount.
This works for my husband...Hope it helps =)

hey.i have a great idea.please keep your money in some piggy bank which is situated in your mom's cupboard and after filling the amount then use it for your use
