Disappointed with Jollibee

I used to crave cheeseburget and chicken with palabok at Jollibee. Well, I need to patronize Filipino fast food. However, I am always disappointed with their service. I have experienced many times delivering the wrong order. One, I have ordered chicken joy with palabok, they gave me chicken joy with spaghetti. Two, I ordered 1 2 pc chicken joy and 1 1pc chicken joy, then they delivered 2 1 pc chicken joy. I have experienced same problems regarding delivery. The latest was, my bf ordered cheeseburgr meal and additional hamburger for take out. To my dismay, I am complaining to my bf if he actually bought the cheeseburger from Jollibee. He said yes of course because obviously it is wrapped in Jolibee. The problem was that, the cheeseburger has no patty. While the hamburger has cheese on it. Can you imagine that? My cheeseburger became cheese sandwich. Have you encountered problems with Jollibee? Share to us!

I lived in the Philippines when I was a kid until high school when we moved here in US. I noticed a some differences with our fastfood and their fastfood. Here it is mostly self service, you wait for your order, get your own fountain drinks, and you dispose your food or pack it up when you are done. Basically you are on your own. In the Philippines they have service, where you order wait for your order and leave when you are done. I think that we are spoiled in some ways we don't see and we complain to them. If you experience these inconveniences, maybe you should move to a different branch.

I completely agree to this. i remember going with my cousin who's from boston, we ate at mc donalds in the morning somewhere in tarlac. then, after eating, i noticed they took the remains and put it in the trash themselves. well, that's the bad part, still people lacks discipline.

i dont know what's with jollibee cause there are a lot of issues about that fast food already and people still like to go there. Jollibee is only 50 meters away from our house and we go there most of the time and we also noticed their poor service. One time, we ordered extra gravy for the burger stake and we told the server to check if its mushroom gravy cause they sometimes give us the chicken gravy and then I saw her dip her fingers into the cup to taste if the gravy was mushroom or not. She thought we didnt see but its good to know that she's not working there anymore.

you should have called the attention of the store manager about that, they will definitely warn that crew or maybe terminate her, that is very disgusting, it seems she had no proper manners at all, why would she do such thing?

Oh my! That is really disgusting. First thing, why should she do that and did not even hide it? Second, that is beyond a customer service crew's manner and behavior. She's uncivilized and don't deserve to be working in a food related business.

Just try to understand the situation maybe they had just misunderstand it, you can always return your order and change for the one you really wanted to. One thing you should know that jollibee doesn't agreed with the policy that customer is always right but instead their rule is to treat customer always right.

Do not worry my friend, I am not the freaky type of complainant. ...I can talk as calm and relaxed as I can. That is why my friends are amazed how I can manage complaining but not mad. It is simple, you cannot think discreetly when you are angry. Plus, in situations like that, I would always talk to the Supervisor because that is his/her responsibility.

What's up with that? Did all of those happen in the same branch? My only problem with them is that sometimes, their service is very slow. Did you already complain to their management? I think it's best to let them know about your complaints.

Well, I have experienced those on different branch. I can say though that there are branch that has good service, and the others are not. Yes, I also observed their slow service.

I think it is a funny experience but maybe because of too much order the staff fails to deliver the wrong order. Maybe he is rushing or meeting some quota's or maybe just out of his mind when preparing the orders. Well you could contact their customer service and tell them about this incidents. Their staff should be well trained. If that continues to happen I guess you wouldn't patronize them anymore.

Well said my friend. By the way, about the chicken joy issues, those happened through their delivery hotline. Good thing, they changed the order free of charge. But, about the cheeseburger, I was not able to complain because it is a take out order. It will be a waste of time going back to Jollibee and request to change my order because I took the meal while I am traveling to Ilocos.

I may pass and understand that my friend. However, such mistake is something that the management has to take down because it affects their service. Besides, I know that I am not the only person who had been experiencing the same. Thank you for the comment and Happy mylotting!

I haven't encountered any issues with Jollibee. I've had some delays in order but that's it, no big deal. I've been a customer of Jollibee for almost 30 years now and I feel they're service is as solid as their commitment.

I have experienced once or twice wherein their Chicken Joy was not thoroughly cooked. That should not have happened but I still find those instances forgivable. My real issued is bad customer service. Their crew are not as friendly as they were years ago. Maybe they are just overworked and tired but sometimes it gets to you when you face a discourteous person behind the counter. Anyway, cheer up and take care!

well i don't have any bad experience regarding to jollibee, it's only coincidence i think hehehe. I love all there foods especially jollyhotdog and chicken joy if i had money everyday i would love to eat there everyday.

I am not much into delivery of meals. But I do remember that I did once. Fortunately, I have not experienced wrong delivery of items. You can try and ask for a discount or a rebate in case that same thing happens.

I have never had any mistakes by Jollibee. Besides, I don't really order that much and I love home-cooked foods instead of fastfood for health reasons. If there were any delays or mishaps, I would understand. It's not easy catering for hundreds of people a day. But then that's not an excuse for a major mistake.

I'm just wondering is it just one Jollibee branch? One not so good experience is when the rice i ordered is not well cooked. I had to complain but they're nice enough to replace everything that i ordered with burger meal and they admitted that its their fault and for some reason every time I want to order champ i have to wait at least 5 minutes for it.

I agree with you that sometimes misunderstandings like this happen but not as constant as what you have experienced. And this is true everywhere, not in Jollibee alone but also from other big businesses.

when it comes to delivery and service, i have no problems with jollibee. maybe it comes with the time you order. maybe there is a lot of volume at the time. But they shouldnt have no excuses for that one.

I haven't yet and the crews accommodate me are fine...:) Well, there are few who piss me off because of being hmmm... clumsy? I don't have a better word to describe it... Probably the crew that was preparing the meal was spacing out...:)

My cousing works in Jollibee I think the reason behind this poor service is because of the management. Some branches actually are franchises, meaning they have different service management than the main. My cousin works for one of the main branches and they always maintain a strict management and are always under strict supervision. I have dined at one of the franchises and yes, the service was horrible, the crew behind the counter were rude, and the cashiers seem to be in a hurry, making lots of mistakes. Suffice to say, I never ate there again. But i still love eating at Jollibee.

Hello maean, always check the food bought and keep the receipt. it's not easy being a crew of one of the best fast food chains. how do we know that these people are tired now and can't live up the standards. but it's a good thing you noticed though, just go to other branch i hope they do better customer service. i think the food should be given free in case they made a mistake

Sometimes they do have some problems in different branches, And some staffs were really terrible when it comes to service. I also experienced the difference of the taste, There were specific branches that we knew that the chicken taste a little different. maybe the chicken were marinated for a long time and wasn't cooked immediately, sometimes the spaghetti sauce taste different. I know they came from the same place, but maybe the preparation are wrong in some way. Same as with the service, we have encountered really terrible crews, and sometimes we encountered very nice and smart ones. so I think it really depends.
