Why do I enjoy it so much?

Some people really enjoy watching reality television, me included.
I know it is kind of addicting, but I find myself drawn to certain shows every week and watch them without fail. Now, I wonder if I am just watching some of these shows to get away from my own reality. What do you all think? Do you do this also?

I happen to really dislike reality/ celebrity TV, but I won't rant in case I upset everyone that does. I just change channel if something comes into view.
There are several channels that I am unlikely ever to watch again due to their contnt now.

You are smart for not getting suckered into these shows, they are really dumb, but I get suckered in everytime.
Thank goodness I am an avid reader or my brain would turn to mush.

I just get sucked in everytime. Even with Big Brother I said I was going to stop watching it, but then every summer I wind up tuning in. The one show I finally decided I will absolutely not watch anymore is the Bachelor/Bachelorette show, it is just to ridiculous.

I use to watch them religiously before I had to get my satellite subscription canceled. Yes most times they were very dumb and ignorant people on the show, however it was my way of laughing up a storm and releasing from the days work of stress.
I miss them so.

I am thinking of doing the same thing, but sometimes I think it is my only sanity or escape right now from all of the bad stuff that is going on around me.
They are very crazy people on these shows and I guess that helps me to keep my sanity. By the way love the new avatar you have.
