If you were in a rush to be somewhere and you had a shopping cart full of items and there were couple people behind you with just 2 or 3 items would you let them in front of you? Please explain why you said yes or no...thank you

I'd let them. one it's just being nice but also it would give me time to get all my things up on the conveyor belt. That way I don't hold anyone up while I unload and then I can watch as they ring it up. The other person gets to go through and I have actually saved a bit of time. Works out well all the way around.

If there are one or two, as you said I would definitely allow them to complete their formalities. If there are plenty, I do not want to be a watchman at the store. Please put your response by pressing response key rather than ADD COMMENT key. This will enable me to reach you through my comments.

I have done that before. When they have only a few items and my cart was full I would tell them to go ahead. By the time they checked out I would still be putting my things on the counter so why make them wait?

If I am in a rush, I probably wouldn't let them get ahead. I'd be worrying too much about how I had to get to wherever I had to in such a hurry. But if I wasn't in a hurry and there are just 2 people behind me with one or two items, I would let them go first.
