President Bill Clinton said that one of the things he would like to do in the remaining years of his life and in this lifetime is to climb the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro before the snows totally melts. Vice President Al Gores masterpiece " An Inconvenient Truth" presents the melting of Mt. Kilimanjaro's snow. What is interesting in thsi mountain is that it is located in Africa not like Mt. Fuji which is in Japan that has winter season. Seeing this magnificent mountain in the hot climate of Africa with its snows on top is a breathtaking site to behold. Is it too late to save the snows of Kilimanjaro. it is a sad fact.

The earth has it's own natural cycles and I have no doubt that snow ill return to Kilimanjaro. Whether man is still around to see it is another questions. We have destroyed our world greatly and whether we can still survive here is in question.

hi Watarikenji oh my I hope not. I have a lovely picture of the top of Mt Kilimanjaro looking down of banks of clouds as my wallpaper for my computer, Its a fascinating picture too. That is indeed sad if it is true. I just wonder how much of that is hype though as that mountain stands very tall.

hi Watarikenji then we p eople of the world need to stop doing the things that promote global warming. I have only seen pictures of Mt Kilimanjaro and would love to see it in person. But this is so sad and from what I have read the people on this great world of our are sort of responsible for a lot of the global warming.
