Is being honest worth it?

You know today's world their is no more gentleman. Thanks to the equal rights and freedom. I see many pregnant woman standing while this muscular guy seem don't see her and don't even bother to give his set to her.
And taxi chaos. You see two old couple can't take a ride in a rainy day because other commuters don't want to give way. Because they all are in hurry. And taxi driver's don't want to take old couple because of slow moving and too delicate cargo.

Not everyone is bad in this world as you have envisaged in this world. There are good people too. Only thing is there are more bad and few good people in this world. It is because of these few good people we are able to say the world is good. Let us thank God for small mercies. Do not curse the world if only few people are bad. A mansion is able to stand for several years not because of its walls but because of its strong pillars. Likewise the world too is good because of these good people.

You know you can't fix things if you don't believe its broken.
The perfect example is this.
A comb. You have a comb and one tooth broke away. And you said it just one tooth I can still use it. Next day another tooth fall down. its just one tooth the comb is still good why throw it away. Until you realize later that your comb has only one tooth left. ...
..
The lesson for today is face reality.
When you see the first tooth of your comb come out. You don't bother to know why its come out. You just said its just one tooth and I can still use the comb..

Being honest in terms of what?:D I don't see the connection between your question and the paragraph you've wrote...:D But anyway, I think being honest is worth doing...:D Why do you have to live your life full of lies? That's too much to bear.:D
Hmmm, about the no more gentleman thing. There are still men who are gentleman. Maybe you have just seen only a few of men around the world. I believe there still are men who are considerate and self less...:D

Yeah..They are called endangered species..lols.. I think what we need is the return of chivalry. Long gone are the gentleman. lolz. I think in near future every thing is depends on your wallet. Money talks this days.

Yeah.. We are living in modern times. In which we are all equal. And that means it does not matter if your old or pregnant or disabled. What matters is first come first serve attitude. I never thought a young person like 17 years old can punch an old lady just to steal her bag.

Honesty is such a lonely word. Everyone is so untrue. lolz..
You know its funny when a homeless person return the money he found to the owner. It become a big deal and a big news. Its only shows that today honesty is so hard to do and doing it means praises to other.

Of course, if you do it for your self, because of what you believe and not if nobody else is doing. Jesus already said that very less pass through the door.
I do my part and sleep well, am happier because of it. Lots don't do their parts, but the last thing I want is to be like most of people, they are the wrong ones.

Oh! My this is not good. You know I feel the same way as you do.Honestly I pity those men who are not totally gentlemen sometimes when I am in the bus I just stand up for it is devastating to see a pregnant women or old folks standing and besides we are stronger than them but I am not saying everyone but for few men acknowledging the thought that we just equal and we pay as well but come to think of it a pregnant woman and an old folks.Hmp!Irrational reasoning.

Why did you brought up being honest when your topic is about respect? or I am reading it wrong?....
About that taxi driver who did not take the old couple because of their slowing, that is worrysome, what if all taxi drivers's are like that, who will take the old people for a ride if they don't have their own car? that was disrespectful. I hope karma gets in their way. Seems that lots of lots of peoeple are gaining disrespect and being selfish. For sure when they get old they will realize it all they had done when they reach the same age. I never done it to old people. They have all my respect.

Hi there.I think what you are trying to ask is whether there are still gentlemen in this world. For me, it is of worth to give help to people who are in need. It is because I believe in the golden rule that says, "Do unto others what you would like others do unto you." Cheers!^^

I believe that honesty is always worth the effort. Being dishonest never really gets you anywhere. It just gives you problems you don't need. Be honest with others and yourself. You life will be enriched by it. @woodman321123 (356)

yes it does, but sometimes for the sake of other people that you care about, you cant help, but lie to them, (even soo, lying always ends too serious trouble at the end.)
