PAKISTAN BEAT AUSTRALIA by 3 Wickets.......

It was not that much easy as everyone thought. Pak just needed 40 runs to win with 7 wickets left in the fourth day. Bus Aussies bowled superbly and pakistan players were struggling to face Bollinger,Hilfenhaus and Johnson. Chasing down 40 runs pak lost 4 wickets in the morning session. K Akmal played a key knock under pressure ,but he also got out atlast. All the Pakistan batsmen failed to play Australian bowling. Thus the series come to a draw(1-1). After the Poor perfomance Pakistan came back strongly and win this match. Pakistan were playing under the new captain Sulman Butt . So Butt is very lucky that his captaincy started with a win which was very much needed for not loosing the series.

Yes ,it was not an easy one for Pak to do. Pak struggled to face each and every ball. Australian Bowling was accurate and superb. It came a thrilling match in the end. At one point I thiught that Australia will win tha match sometime. Its very good result for someone who is guiding the team for the first time. Iam very happy that Australians were beaten. I really enjoyed the match

although pak won the match after struggling, i enjoyed the match because in the end pak won it.

I think Pakistani players did a very good job in this match, specially the bowlers. The betting line was very poor, and if bowlers haven't done a good job and Pakistan wouldn't be able to come back into this match. Anyway the good news is, Pakistan has won the match, and now they are equaled by one by one.

ya surely, pak bowled superbly. its their bowling in the first innings and making aus allout for 88 which helped to win the match.but aus made a good fight.

I already warned that with Pakistan you really need to see if they cross the line :) They nearly managed to mess it up loosing 4 wickets in knocking off the remainder 40 runs. Actually had there been another 15-20 runs required, then I am pretty sure that they might have ended up loosing. But in the final analysis it is a great victory for Pakistan and a great start for Salmaan Butt as a captain. It also means that Aussies go a bit further down in the rankings!! Cheers! Ram

ya thats right. if 20-25 runs was there more, then the case would have been different. aus are real fighters. they fought well till the end.

you wont have said it if you have watched the match. if you were watching the match then you would have been on the edge of the seat. in the end pak won.
