bp tried very hard to keep the media away from the worst aspects of the gulf spill. and in several cases they failed miserably. however maybe they didn't fail all that badly after all. i tried to find an update on a specific area that was threatened by the spill back in may, and did several thorough searches. after may there was absolutely NOTHING. now either the press are too busy reporting on other stuff or something Sinister is happening - you'd think after all that local media would have something to say. any opinions?

I have wondered the very same thing. Why have things gotten so hush ,hush is beyond me. Even the animal rights activists are being closed lipped about this.Something has happened that they are covering,Or possible threats. Our President had promised full coverage though, I have never trusted or rested easy after his lame 5 minute speech on the subject. Yes they all promised full coverage through out and beyondBut turned their backs on there country for some odd reason.Freedom of speech has always been a number one issue when speaking about anything, the media could get there hands on. Yet here we sit in the dark. I wonder what would be the best route to finding something out about this ?How long till someone breaks the silence. I would love to try though standing alone ,I stand little chance. We should all ban together and demand the facts. This effects everything everywhere and everybody. Last I did hear they declared it a national ecological disaster , Now nothing after a powerful statement such as this.

Go to ABC action news it seems like a lot of the little they are saying.Though it goes into the middle of June with plenty of videos, updates ect. Maybe you can get a bit more from this site.

you can get general information right up to the minute, how accurate it is idk. wikipedia for once has a useful timeline and so do all the major news sources i use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Deepwater_Horizon_oil_spill but trying to get information on a specific area just came up with this strange blank after may. the last story says oil threatening. then nothing.

hi jb nope too warm to have opinions on that, but was reading the ex lambs response and thinking what poor chickens look like when they have no water on a very hot day, they look almost scary and anyone with any heart will hurry and get them water. Bob must have cotton between his ears for brains not to feed'and water his varied live stock. wow. sad.Think what we look like when we are hot and thirsty and no water. not a pretty sight. lol.I was raised on a farm and the edict was no food for us till we fed and watered all our livestock.

The local media were all sent on a scavenger hunt. When they come back with a comb, two matches, a blue super ball, 5 golden rings and a bag of Bit O' Honey, they may notice that there is something different about the local beach.

i asked a mylotter from that area what the situation was - she couldn't find anything after may either. my money is on 'distraction' rather than 'konspiracy' but it is odd
