Recently, there are many new members who ask about how to earn in mylot. This topic has been repeated so many times. I have a thought in my mind about welcome page for new member who login for the first time. The welcome page should contain welcome greetings and asking them to read FAQs and Guidelines. With good and interest look, it could catch new member attention. And don't forget to add skip button at the bottom of the page. For example, the welcome message would be like this: "Welcome to myLot, Here you could earn money while make friends and having fun Before you continue, please read our FAQs and guidelines Thank you, myLot team" The text FAQs and Guidelines should link to FAQs and guidelines page. What do you think?

Hi de_toya, Yes that right that every new users of mylot always have this welcome email before starting anything on mylot, but I notice here that most of the new users are choose to skip and not to read these mylot FAQ and TOS and just start posting and posting and after posting the next day,new user will ask " My earnings didnt update and still zero and some of my post got deleted why its happening" duhhh and most of us here that read the FAQandTOS will with the link with us and try to help them. Hope to those coming users of nylot will read the FAQ and TOS of mylot to avoid such thing.

@kyle: You are right, mylot sent new members welcome message, however most of us too lazy to read and so did I. Do you know why? I was too lazy to read many words and want to make money immediately with mylot. This message didn't catch my attention so I just ignored it. I think most new members have the same reason why they leave welcome email. If mylot add welcome page, with interesting look without too many words, I think this could catch their attention. By asking them to the point, read FAQs and Guidelines they will think a while a consider our invitation. @flagaz: I understand why did you said that new members made lot of boring post. However, I don't think that was boring. I always try to answer what they asking especially how to earn here even though they should know it without asking. I don't want to be proud, moreover mylot is a place to share each other, don't you?

my friend Diana put it much nicer than me. evenif we had such a sheet 'which would make great sense to you and me but so many newbies u nlike sweet Diana says do have time but not for reading the information that really would help make mylot more enjoyable. I meant these same people do have time to write I dont make any money and mylot is a scam as they deleted all my discussions. Help tell me what the r ules are anyway. This really irritates me, If I could find time when I first came here to stop; and read the instructions first, so can they. But like the old saying, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink, you can lead a newbie to the information that helps make mylot enjoyable but you cannot make them read it.

You got it there Hatley Either they just don't have time to read or they are convinced that they already know all that there is to know I had one earlier telling another user that we are earning a lot posting them links to the rules. If only they knew that we don't earn a penny and we waste most of our time when we do it. They are few and far between the ones that actually listen and go on to be great fun Lotters.

When a new user registers they automatically receive a welcome mail from myLot with instructions. It points them to all the right places so that they can learn what to do BEFORE they start posting. Admin Alice posted it somewhere. I will see if I can find it. Sadly not many of them have time to read it

Well i think that the welcome page is needed if some people just wonder to this site searching for some earnings that welcome message would help. And when they register they would receive even more information by that message. Cheers and happy myLotting !

Admin sent messages of same sort but most of new members will just jump in in making money immediately without bothering to read the guidelines and FAQ's. This should be the ideal and appropriate way every time we gonna join a money making site. We must know the rules and how we gonna earn from it and most importantly know what not to do so we won't waste the time spending and in the end we'll just lost it.

Correctly, mylot has sent the welcome message to every new member inbox. Unfortunately, most of them just ignored it. This is the reason behind my idea. Welcome page the second warm welcome from mylot that contain invitation to read two important things that should known by new members. Welcome page would become another hospitality of mylot. When there are more new members know about mylot correctly, then there will be more people come here and stand to enjoy mylot.

I think a welcome page for mylot would be a terrific idea. Not only would it benefit new mmwbers, but veterans as well. Happy mylotting everyone and welcome to any new mylotters!

Thank you sender, you are the only one agree with my idea so far . I don't know whether my idea is sucks or useless. I just want to help every new member who has come to mylot and met difficulty to enjoy mylot. Even though the ignorance is their faults but we have to have responsibility to guide them. We ask them to come here and when they get lost, most of us ignored them. Some of us even said "most new member post useless discussion". That's true but we have to try to be in their position right now. They ignored welcome message since the message contain many words and most of welcome message contain the same like others site do. Welcome page is another way to make differentiation. Differentiation is needed in marketing to catch attention of audiences. If they ignored welcome message, we attract them once again by welcome page.

I think that really good idea my friend. From my first experience I really clueless what will I do here beside making discussion and response. So I did it just making response with one or two lines and only get few cent daily. Today I had more experience in making money in mylot after few help from others mylotters.

So did I. I didn't read welcome email from mylot. I didn't read FAQs and guidelines either even I didn't know where to find them at the beginning in mylot. Some kind members in mylot showed me how to earn and enjoy mylot. Thanks for those members. If there is welcome page that ask new member to read FAQs and Guidelines before continue forward, perhaps they will follow the instruction. I think welcome page is much better than welcome email.

Sadly, not many new members to read the important stuff. I know because I am guilty of it as well. I had to learn the hard way. After a while, I wanted to help new members because of the same reason.

Thank you chookie, you are so kind. I hope your hospitality will help others enjoy mylot. Too many new members didn't read the FAQs and guidelines even though both are very important thing before we continue forward. Even though mylot has sent them email contain welcome message, most of new members ignored it. That is the background of my idea. There must be a welcome page that contain invitation to read FAQs and guidelines. Every new member will think a while if see welcome page and consider to visit the page.
