Notification on my email says that my comments was deleted? I have a good comments in maybe more than 5 to 7 post that members was deleted under , these is outrageous I don't know how mylot distinguished what's a good comments and bad comments or they just removed it so you don't earn much, controlling the earnings? I know member will tell me to read TOS but mylot should filter first the good and bad comments , kinda frustrating to comments if they will always delete your comments. Like I just have suggestion about Antivirus program giving out info and good suggestion about it but was deleted it's really sad. So maybe other member are fed off maybe doing mylotting if mylot will delete your comments. Even me I just being very frustrated and sad about it?

Me too, I got one notification and I just wondered why they deleted it since there's nothing wrong about my post.

You got 1 notification?
That's all?
I got 14 and they are still arriving and I was expecting every single one of them because I knew that where I had posted would eventually be deleted.
We are lucky that we have admins who keep myLot clean and clear of plagiarists, cheats and other idiots who think that they can come here and jump on the bandwagon and get paid for their trash.
Look at the Guidelines. Understand them and then you will know what are where not to post.

Yes people will says here that read the TOS but truly even we read the TOS if mylot still gonna delete out comments and post member will diminish slowly. You suggested a good comment but under it is bad , then they should just delete only the bad comments not the good one right!

You know what I was just about to make a thread on this. I mean this system is just ridiculous, it's not fair at all and made me really angry to see a massive list of 'notifications'. I am careful with all my posts, I am not rude towards anyone and I feel that it's sad that even though I probably had nothing to do with why the discussion got deleted. I spend ages making careful comments that people can enjoy reading or get advice for but they just end up being deleted. I wish mylot would change this totally unfair system because it is annoying a lot of members by the looks of it, including me :(

@cadguy: Hi! i recently bump into a discussion where they are talking about the STAR and number on our names. I think if your star is 10 (highest) you can earned more than the lower ones, and it's not the count of your responses where they base your earnings. It's called the ratings. it's based on how well you answer, and how you are rated (+/-) or if somebody rated your response as best answer. I guess to achieve that.. everybody in myLot should start rating! ^.^

Herro cadguy08 and others
I too have gotten the "notification", My first one puzzled me. Then I realized it wasn't me violating guidelines. Someone else in the chain violated and caused deletion. I loose earnings just like the rest of us. I am careful, I do my best not to comment on a conversation that has the risk of being deleted. Then I realized that someone else in the chain wasn't as careful as I am. I have never gotten the "notification" conversation was deleted due to your error. It has been someone else in the chain, which I cannot control. I can only control my behavior, my being careful and comprehensive. I can choose whether I allow someone else to make me frustrated or sad. OR I can move one and make extra responses to make up for the loss.
Prosperous myotting

MyLot is for quality DISCUSSIONS!
We have a search feature where even get rewarded for searching for previous topics to see if they have already been discussed. Use it and then you will not find yourself repeating things that have already appeared here.

I have also received reports of two types: one was saying it removed the discussion that had started, and another saying that my response was deleted because the discussion initiated by another user had been deleted. It's annoying and sad when this happens, not what criteria they use to make these determinations, but it is going to be, we must review the guidelines and accept the actions of administrators, but that one does not agree or all agree.

I don't get what all the complaining is for, MyLot has the right to delete discussions or comments that they feel violate their guidelines. Besides, I understand why some discussions get deleted because they're all the same "What's your favorite (insert subject here)?" questions. There are hundreds of those on here and other discussions that might violate the guidelines. But you can always post more answers, it's not like they're banning you from the website.
