i'M SURE EVERYONE IN THE U.S.A. KNOWS ABOUT ST. JUDE & ALL THE GOOD THINGS THEY DO FOR SICK CHILDREN. I am a softie when it comes to kids. I don't have much extra money but i do send them a donation every once in awhile. I have been blessed that my children & grandchildren have been well so far. How many of u out of the u.s.a. have heard about this wonderful place that take sick children in & they are not charged a penny. Are there any of u in the u.s.a. that have not heard of it?

I have heard of it. I also like Shriners Hospitals. We have been there, and they were good with my son. The hard part was getting there and home. It seems those places are so good to our kids.

Yes, Anti, I l heave heard of St. Jude hospital, and I do agree that is is a wonderful and amazing thing they are doing for the benefit of children. To God be the glory for this wonderful place. You rarely find anything or anyone in this day and age that is doing wonderful things like this without charging. I have to admit that I have never made a donation but since you mentioned it I will consider looking into it. I too thank God that all my children and grandchildren are well, blessed and doing fine. Keep up the good work and blessings to you.

I have heard of them and they are one of the places I send regular donations to. I personally have been lucky enough to not have had to use their services nor has any of my family. I know of people that have had to use them though. This is a wonderful hospital that works only on donations giving to them by people like us and by others.

I have heard of them. I praise all organizations that go to such links to help children. I myself was also blessed that my children were healthy. But I think that places like St Jude, Shriners and all other org like this are a blessing. One thing people can do when they don't have money is to see if they things they may not need anymore and donate it for fund raisers.

Yes, I have heard of it and all the wonderful work they do for children. I have not sent them a donation as I try to help two children's homes for children who are both physically and mentally handicapped. I sometimes wish that I was rich and wonder how all those companies who have made millions do not do more for the this hospital.

Hi Cynthi, thanks for responding.Good for u for helping w/the children there as u should . I wasn't really asking who had donated to St. Jude but i'm like u the big companies could do alot more than they do as well as the whole u.s.a. Our goverment is so hell bent sending money everywhere instead of helping the people right here at home. Pet peeve of mine. I always heard charity begings at home. HUGS.

You know how sometimes they have segments on television of famous people talking about St. Jude, and narrating stories about families from there, right? I was watching one of those segments Sunday, and Jennifer Garner was the one telling the stories. I had to turn it when I started crying. It's so sad! Even when they get such great care from St. Jude, sometimes that isn't enough to save them. What I like about some survey sites, is that for redemptions, they have the options of giving points to charities, which translates into dollars. One survey site I belong to in particular has St. Jude as one of their options for people to donate to. I think that's pretty cool.

I have heard of St Jude Hospital and its great reputation. We have our own children’s hospital here in Western Australia that also does great work. It’s called Princess Margaret and I’ve had the opportunity to take my own daughter there and they are wonderful. These are certainly great causes to donate to, that’s for sure; there are very special people who work in these hospitals.
