How can people be so wicked?

I have just read a story about a 14 year old girl who snatched a 7 month old baby from the arms of his sister who was walking with her mother, and threw him in front of a bus. Luckily the bus driver was quick enough to swerve and the baby was not seriously hur, but how on earth could anyone - let alone a child of 14 do such a thing? That is absolutely disgusting!!! How can anyone be so evil. Bullying is one thing, but this is too much. I hope that this gets sorted and the person involved gets punished. The baby could have been killed if it wasn't for the quick thinking bus driver... how sick... that has just made me very angry!

It does make you wonder doesn't it... I mean 14 years old and she is capable of doing such an awful thing at such a young age... what the hell would she be capable of when she is older???

Assault charges are too good for what she did...she should be charged with attempted murder!

Unfortunately, not everyone is as mentally healthy as everyone else. Some things that we find disturbing and unnatural, maybe feel normal in their mind. Some times it might be over jealousy, where as healthy minded people would deal with it in a healthy way. Whereas this girl decided to try and kill the little boy. It is very sad to know that she had done this and she obviously needs help. But it is just very good that the boy wasn't seriously injured or even killed.

My sister used to live in Croydon in South London. Some very shocking stories come from the area around West Croydon train station and a village with many council houses called New Addington. I think that the teenage girl was being bullied by some other students from her school. It might have been because of her skin condition. The 14 year old girl that threw the 7 month old baby in front of a moving bus is a sick person. It was amazingly good that the bus driver managed to stop the bus immediately and the baby didn't suffer deathly injures. I am delighted that the baby boy is still alive and is recovering from his injuries. I can't understand how a teenager could be that wicked. I feel sorry for the baby boy, his sister, his mom, his dad and the bus driver. I think the 14 year old that did this should go to a juvenile prison.

I really find this news highly disturbing because the culprit is only a 14 years old kid and she is still young and yet her mind is full of wickedness and evil. Where did she learned that awful attitude. She can't be a good role model to anyone younger than her. Such a bad child...she almost got the baby killed. It is frightening that kids nowadays suffer some behaviors patterns like this that only sick adult can do. I wanted to know what's going on her mind while doing it. This is absolutely horrible thing she did. very bad.

The bullying in school was bad when I was there and the schools have just continued to let it get worse. This girl sounds like some of the calloused kids I used to drive in my school bus. They think that nothing matters and they have no respect for others or themselves, much less for life. When we are killing babies in the womb without any repercussions, how are kids supposed to gain any kind of respect for life, eh?

Wow, it's so awful! No one in his right mind would do such a terrible thing! If the girl is in her right mind, how terrible when she grows up in the future! She should see a psychological therapist.

Yeah, like one user has said.. shocked but not surprised.. I mean.. nowadays reading the newspaper itself can give me the shivers. Perhaps that's why I've been staying away from reading the papers for quite some time already. It's just too real out there.. too sadly real, and all these bad deeds youngsters are doing, setting a bad example to the even younger ones and my biggest question is, who will they grow up to be? Gosh....

It beggars belief. But it shows just how spiteful bullying can be, and the inability of schools and some parents to address it. Very frightening that the thought even occurred to a 14 year old.

This is beyond crazy!! It's really unheard of! I'm shocked, disgusted, and upset at hearing this!! This is nothing but an act of God that this baby is still alive! Its really unbelieveable that someone would do such a thing. Thankfully justice will be served!! To sad to hear about this story, it really is!!!
