How do you feel about the news that death penalty will return for the drug lords

There was a suggestion that death penalty should be re-instituted in the Philippines as an ultimate punishment for drug lords. According to this proposal, life time imprisonment is not sufficient punishment to stop drug pushing and trafficking. Illegal drug organizations are still functioning even with their lords and kings in jail, communication between the organizations and the lords still exists, thus business is still on the run, and illegal drug pushing and using will not be controlled. However, according to news, as early as now, Philippine President Benigno Aquino III countered the idea saying that death penalty is not to be considered because there maybe cases that may not undergo due process because death penalty may be abused by those in power to command it. Senator Tito Sotto proposed that Philhealth should cover rehabilitation expenses for drug users, this will provide the users with lighter baggage and easier rehabilitation. According to the senator it is already hard for the rehab inmates not to take the drugs they are so addicted to, less expenses will make it a lot better for them.
