Do you add your clients to the chatting software like MSN?

If it is not necessary, I don't want to add my clients to MSN. I prefer to contact with them by emails. Since my MSN will be turned on when I am online. So I don't want to be bothered by work issues in my own spare time. And when I am home, I hardly do something even if my clients contact me. So I prefer not to add them to my MSN list.

Hi youless, to avoid my private daily life space to be disturbed, definately I won't add any of my clients to my online chatting software like MSN or SKYPE. Lol... it's nice to keep my online MSN to be turned off all the time. In this way I then could enjoy my online fun relaxingly and easy. It's really annoying to see so many undesirable chats waiting for. This makes me couldn't concentrate what I'm doing on web It's free for my loved ones only Happy posting

Perhaps this is why some chatting software provides the "invisible" feature

Morning, youless. It can be a very good way to prevent yourself from being bothered without adding clients to the chatting software, but sending emails to each other for some business issues. May you enjoy a prosperous business!

hi youless I think thats the most business like way to do it and most people will really accept that. I do not have any clients myself but if I did had a business of some sort I would use the rule my husband went by, do not mix business with pleasure as it causes too much trouble. His clients for his lawn and gardening' service were mostly professional people who were used to that axiom too. It did work very well for his business too. I am a widow now for many years.

Hi, youless! I agree with you. If not necessary, I wont add clients in my online chatting software too. I don't like to be disturbed by the notification of QQ or MSN. And clients, especially short term clients, I prefer not let them know much of my contact way.
