Have you ever had your submission rejected for a task?

I have done many tasks and keep thinking.. What if the task creator rejects my task? Has it ever happened to you? If not.. How would you feel if your submission was rejected, especially for the long research tasks. That's why I feel those tasks are a little risky. I spend so much time on them that if they get rejected.. all hell will break lose.

It happened to me the only time I did a task, actually. It was to write an article, and I did, according to all the instructions, and when I had sent it in, the creator rejected the task and said that the article was plagiarized! (It wasn't!) I was furious and have sworn not to do any tasks after that. I am pretty sure the creator still used the article, because it was good, but he just didn't want to pay me for it, I guess. So I stay away from tasks now, which is a shame for people who need something done, I've written articles before and have a very high knowledge of SEO and stuff, but because of this dishonest guy, I will never do tasks here again!

I'm sorry that happened to you! That's the reason I was originally skeptical of doing tasks here because it seems so easy to scam people with them. I haven't had an experience like that yet but I'm sure it's coming..

Hey puccagirl, I am talking on behalf of all the task creators here. I have rejected lot many articles submitted by the community here because they weren't original. Most of the task creators who post writing tasks check the submissions using copyscape.com, if your post fails to pass the check, we consider it as plagiarized even if its just a few words. Please try to understand that fact.

I really hate plagiarism. I really take the time to create my articles and edit them before submission so I think it's unfair for people to just steal them and make money out of these. My friend experienced this. She has a travel site and was flabbergasted when she found her articles and even her pictures posted on someone else's site without giving her credit for it.

I am new to Mylot and just completed 3 tasks, fortunately non of those tasks has been rejected. I read in FAQ that task creater has to deposit money with MyLot before posting the tasks, so I think if the Task creator has to reject your task then he must give a genuine reason for it.

Yes they do have the deposit the money first. BUT they can reject your submission and then you don't get paid. They could give a fake reason for rejecting it. Fortunately this hasn't happened to me yet either.

That's only happened to me once. It was a simple sign up task - I followed the instructions to the letter, there's no way I could have made a mistake, and it was rejected. I found out the next day that I wasn't the only one who'd been rejected, so clearly the person who set the task just didn't want to pay out. The upshot of that is that I haven't accepted a task from this particular person since then.

I would rather have that happen to me on a sign up task. I think I could handle that, still wouldn't be thrilled though. The trick is finding out who the legit task creators are. I think I'm beginning to figure that out, slowly but surely.

I've never had a rejection for any of the tasks I've submitted, I try to go for only the tasks I know I can do. I have a 100% approval rating, if it looks like I won't be able to do the task or don't understand it, I forfeit the task instead of submitting it.

I'm on the same boat as you. 100% approved. I usually jusst do the writing tasks that are all from the same user. I alway wonder how she has time to read all those articles. I have forfeited a couple tasks as well. anyway, good luck with your tasks!

I've been lucky that none of the tasks I've submitted haven't been rejected. I've just finished an article and I'm 99.99% sure that my work will be rejected. haha, I tried my best knowing that I will fail. The reason that I went through with it was because I wanted to learn something from the experience. I hope the task master will give me pointers and advice so that I can become a better writer. P.S. we will always fail one time or another. as long as we learn from our mistakes, we'll do just fine.

Yes,this was currently happened to me.I've done a lot of researches from encyclopedias, books, Codes, Laws and even surf the internet all day, read all relating articles and yet, when I present them to my boss, it makes him scowl and say's, "Ohh, this was supposedly not what I mean, try to look for another one." This really hurt my feelings and took away my interest and confidence,...I am really full of disappointment and yet It was very irritable. Then what happen, I start another search again pertaining to that case, until he was satisfied to my second research!

Yes, I have done a number of tsaks here on myLot (and also at some other sites). Some got accepted, and some rejected. It is ofcourse disappointing when the submission got rejected after a long hard work in some cases. Yet, at the same time, I should not blame the task-masters as they are also doing their jobs in the best ways they can.

Yes, I had few tasks rejected. I have done more than 500 writing article tasks and about 15 of those were rejected. I only do writing tasks because the pay is fair. I only make tasks for SharonBucks and her tasks are reliable and she pays without doubt since I have received payment so many times already. If ever your task were rejected it was for a good reason. I do not think that the task master still use those articles you wrote and then do just reject these because they intend not to pay you. I do not think it works that way. Sure, I felt bad when some of my articles were rejected but that is how it works. I get approved and you get rejected. I have also some articles returned and Sharon was even so nice to point out my mistakes and ask me to re-write my articles so it would get accepted. If you are a writer, you should be ready to accept rejections. Even the best writers can still be rejected online and offline. The best thing to do is hone your craft and learn from your mistakes.
