I often come across friends and people saying money is everything and you cannot do anything without money! Of course it is no doubt a slanted statement! The truth is money has a lot of power and can do a lot of things. But there are also things which money cannot buy. Things such as love, respect, hate, reputation, etc. What is your take on this? Is money everything? Can one live without money? On the other hand, what about relationship? Can one have lots of money and live without a friend, a love one or a companion? Which one of the two is more important according to you and why? I would like to hear to what you have to say!

Hi bekosfc, Financial problems are the reason for the breakup of a great many relationships or so it is believed. I sometimes wonder though, is it really a lack of money or the result of expecting too much? It seems that each generation has greater expectations than the one before it. While we all need the basic necessities of life, I would rather be in a good relationship than be rich and unhappy. Money cannot buy happiness, social standing cannot buy happiness, neither can it buy true friendship. Blessings.

Thanks Pose. Appreciate your comment! "...is it really a lack of money or the result of expecting too much?" I would say a boundary-less desire is one of the causes!
