so as we all know we are get paid monthly for our participation here in mylot, that is starting a discussion, dropping some comments on others' discussion or perform searches. Make sure you have posted discussions with sense so that the admin would consider your post as valuable and pay you. Moreover, you can refer friends. For each referred friend, you will get 25% of his earning! :)
So now that I'll be having my first payment real soon, I review how one would get his/her payment here in mylot. So all the payment will be US dollars and the payment will be made via paypal. Thus, one should make a paypal account.
When you reach your minimum payment, that is 10 dollars this month, you will get the payment on the 15th of next month. Suppose you reach the minimum payment today, you will get your payment on September 15. But if you feel withdrawing your money only if they get high, you can increase you limit to 25 and 100 dollars. You can change it here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editPayment.aspx .. You also have to fill that mylot payment information to get your payment, make sure they are correct and accurate.
One more important thing, very important: If you get busy and can't find time to participate in mylot, it's okay. But visit your account once in a while. Don't left your mylot unopened for 3 months because your earnings will be forfeited, since you left it idle.
Don't waste time calculating your earning because they have their own algorithm on calculating our earning. If you have questions about your earning, you can always contact mylot's admin.
I know this one is in FAQs. But I have this as my discussion because I know there are lots of people who don't bother opening mylot FAQs, and I'm one of those people. hehe. I'm glad I have read it.. So excited for the first payment. lols.

Just one thing which is ambiguous in your topic.
We receieve a bonus equal to 25% of our referrals earnings for their images and participation in discussions. Everything else is excluded when calculating that amount.

sorry my post is not perfect. should have reviewed it before posting. lols. My apology, but there's a correction. It is not 25% of his earnings but an amount equal to 25% of his discussion and image earnings.. that's it!
Haven't tried searching and task so haven't earned from rewards. My earning came all from my discussions and replies to others' discussion. But I think I'll try that! thanks! :)

Just check his activity. He learnt really quickly that to become a discussion there must be participation from the user who starts it

I know that attente joined three years ago but it is only recently that they became active and decided to give it a go

If one gets over 10.00 will they be paid over that limit. For example, lets say that one sets their minimum to 10.00 and at the end of the month they make 10.25 will they get paid the 10.00 only or will they get 10.25? I have only made pay out once and cannot wait to do it again. I am so close to making it for this month.

They will receive the TOTAL amount in their account on the last day of the previous month. If that is $10.25, then they will receive the whole amount of $10.25.

As someone who is fairly new here, thank you for your post. I am trying to do mylot every day to make some extra money. I have a couple sites that I visit on a daily basis; sidetick,peoplestring,quickrewards,mylot and do my paid surveys and paid emails plus instantcashrewards is quick and easy.

you are very welcome. My apology linda but there is a correction on this discussion. I said for every referred friend, you will earn 25% of his earning. No it's not like that. You will earn an amount equal to 25% of his discussion and image earnings. That's it! So no earning will be deducted to your friend. okay! thank you! happy mylotting!

You should always log in and do a couple of responses. Even you think they are stupid and have no meaning what so ever. For a long time I thought there was nothing i could talk about then I started and was able to read other persons responses and realized that i just need to respond and as long its a heart felt response and longer than two or three lines. Then I don't feel too bad when people just respond on here to have a response sometimes. Like those two or three word responses. Also, you can raise your limit or lower it each month if you want. Plus you have to do it by the end of each month. You are correct in the fact that if you don't have enough for pay out you have to wait until the next month to see if you have it then. The cool thing is as long as you log in atleast 1 a week you should be able to keep your earnings. I've been told that there were some who took longer than 90 days to log in to there account and there money was gone so you should atleast log in 1 a month. I say log in once a day and do a couple of post. You'd be surprise how quickly it adds up if you do quality posts.

Logging in to post responses which are "stupid and have no meaning whatsoever" will not help you to reach payout 
Quality responses which are then followed by shorted comments to further the topic are fine but garbage is just that, and worthy of deletion

do the administrators read all the responses so as to check if your response has a sense? well, to be safe, just make sure that your response has something to do with the topic.. yes yes, you will lose your earnings if you don't log in for 3 months. so make sure to log in once in a while even if you're busy.. be blessed! :)

Well since I got my first payment just today i am quite happy and i will try and participate more in mylot so that i can earn more money from it. I didn't really know how would one get paid over here but thanks to you that i have now known it.
Even using the mylot search engine one gets money did you know that? I even once got a 0 reward. I mean i didn't get anything but it was given like you have won a 0 cents reward.
It was kinda funny!

Hi babz! there is actually a correction there. about the referral thing. i said that you will get 25% of his earning.. it should be, you will get the same amount of 25% of his earning.. so 25% will not be deducted from his earning.. go check the FAQ and learn more! be blessed and happy mylotting! :)

BUt i have to correct u on one thing though.. Mylot does not pay us on the 15th every month.. Instead, mylot pays us anytime before the 15th of next month, whenever we reach the minimum payout of ours

this is a very good discussion, as there are many on mylot that will post without reading the faqs and they end up violating the guidelines, and then wonder why their discussion was deleted. Now, I will help some of them that I see like that, so I can tell them what they have done wrong, and that their discussion will be deleted because of guideline violations. I know when I do that, I won't earn for my post, but it isn't all that much anyway, and I would rather help someone then let htem continue to violate the guidelines. I have seen many discussions lately that i kinew would be deleted, and if users would read the guidelines, then they could avoid all of them being deleted, and they won't lose earnings and neither will those who responded to them. Good job, Attente.:) It seems that you have simplified things here. This isa truly helpful for those who are "LAZY" to read the FAQs. (NO OFFENSE MEANT).
It took me awhile to figure these all out.And, now I have quite adjusted well to the facts except for the referral.Sigh...I can't seem to convince a single soul to join Mylot under me. I told a friend about Mylot , he joined but not under me.He searched for it and signed up without thinking he was helping someone else and not me. HUHUHU...:)

This is indeed inspiring. I'm a newbie here and still looking forward to earn just as others do. I've realized that earnings is a question of how often you use Mylot. Being paid every month for something that you like to do(writing) is worth doing! It's like I live to write and I write to live.
