I watched it for the first time last week, and am still confused over it all, it seemed like an unfortunate movie, the plot line, and their family how they sold their daughters out for aristocracy. . . what do you think the importance of this is and did you like it?

I remember this film. It wasn't brilliant but watchable. I think Scarlet Johansson was lovely, it's actually very rare to see her as such a 'pure' and nice character. She usually ends up playing all the promiscuous sexy characters... The sister, I can't remember her name right now, she was a bit over the top, but probably well suited to the part. It's such a shame, all these big actors, but not really appropriate for this film, they really should have used the actors with a theatrical training for this.

I thought the movie was good but too short. It wasn't very consistent with what really happened..you know, movies cut and add stuff in. I think this story is an important part of history..because Henry VIII was the first king of England who had divorce [and 6 wives]..which divided the Church. You should watch "The Tudors."..

It was good in the sense that acting by Eric Bana , Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson was good , but i dont thik its exactly as it happened in history, its shown than how mean someone can to get some power and wealth and it was really shocking to see such a mean act to present daughters to a king like that.I think it was good and entertaining .Scarlett Johansson looked very beautiful again and actually i watched it being a big fan of her.
