The nicest and greatest thing that I have done in a day for myself... staying in bed after waking up But it ends when reality comes rushing in. Have any of you experienced this?

Ahhhhh - my husband and I used to have those kinds of days before we had kids! It would be a luxury for us these days if we could stay in bed after waking up. Our kids are either our alarm clocks, or we get up to start our day before the kids wake up . . . we HAVE to get out of bed while we have the chance! As you said, reality rushes in - and much quicker when you have young kids!! Hopefully we'll experience "staying in bed" again - hee hee!

Agreed with much2say. ^.^ I do miss those days when you just lay around and say.. 5 mins more. haha! but now, being a mom, you know your responsibilities you have to cook, clean and to everything while all the hyper active kids are all asleep and wont disturb you. ^.^ @dnbc87: once you have kids you won't say that! ^.^ Kids are all such a handful.. but they are so adorable and sweet. they would be your life. so even though they are pulling your hair most of the time you would still smile and love them unconditionally. surely, you would miss those kind of mornings, but when all your kids grow up and have those mornings again, youl'd miss your children as a "kid" forever. ^.^

I love kids. I guess what I really meant was that am still scared of having my own kid(s)... sacred that am not ready yet. But, am looking forward to having my own kid(s)... I first need to find a wife hehehe... kids are the best and fun and a handful but staying in bed for a few minutes more or even an hour is just awesome!

Funny thing... when we are in a rush, we do things faster and make in on time rather than when we have all the time in the world but ends up being late. ^_^

There are days when I really do enjoy doing this. I do stay in bed after waking up, when I can afford to do it, when I don't have to be anywhere, or anything like that. It's enjoyable to do occasionally.

I usually wake up 15 min before the time I actually get out of bed. It is so hard to get out of bed, but then the sleepiness goes away.

my sleepiness takes a long time to go away... maybe that's why I love staying in bed a lot. 15 min... that only happens to me when I really have to do something early in the morning. ^_^
