Hi Friends, Most of us must have a mobile phone with us. And my question is how many of you have prepaid connection and how many of you have postpaid connection. Recently, many telecom companies have announce some attractive schemes in both postpaid as well as in prepaid. I have on postpaid connection and one prepaid connection. Both from different telecom companies. How many mobile connections you have? What are all they. Which one you prefer?

Type of Connection depends on your usage and the number of calls you made per day. If you are a marketting executive you have to more calls and for that post paid connection is good and prepaid connection is enough for limited usage like me..

Before I'm using a postpaid I always exceed on the alloted sms and calls that supposedly I have to consume. So my bill was always over to my postpaid plan. So, I switched on the prepaid now. And i think I much to prefer to use the prepaid than postpaid. I can control my usage and one thing the Telecoms company has a promo for unlimited text or calls.

I have 3 mobile connections. All of them are prepaid but all from different networks. They all have different promotions and most of the time, I use the ones with promos like unlimited calls. Although, I do spend for the 3 connections, I still save considering that I do a lot of calls and responses on my mobile. If there is no need for me to load then I just don't load. So overall, I still save rather than pay a monthly bill on postpaid.

I use to be a post paid user but has switched to prepaid because I could not control my usage. I tend to be lazy texting so O just resort to making the call whenever. I believe there are more perks in using postpaid but this is only good for those people who have self control not the likes of me LOL.

I only have one mobile connection, and it is a postpaid one. I guess to decide which is the better option for oneself (prepaid or postpaid), it is a good idea to review one's usage of the mobile. Generally, a postpaid connection is better for someone who uses the mobile very frequently, which a prepaid connection is normally ideal for people who only use the mobile infrequently. For me, I don't really use the mobile often, so perhaps the prepaid option is better for me, but the reason I am sticking to my postpaid plan is because they give me a free handphone if I stick to their postpaid service for the period of the contract. Oh well, there are a lot of things to think about before making a decision really - just have to sit down, list down the options and weigh the pros and cons of each option......

I also have both connections. I have 3 prepaid connections from different companies and 1 postpaid. The prepaid ones are just given to me. One is my original from high school, one is a school sim given out to all students, and one is new which I got because of a friend who uses the same telecom service and they have rates which are incredibly cheaper compared to others. Catch is that the credits are only available to the sim cards or mobile connection who uses the same service provider. The postpaid connection is just given to me by my Mom. There was a mix up during her registration and they gave her two subscriptions. She gave one to me because she couldnt use up all of the credits given on both connections. I use the postpaid and one prepaid in my dual sim phone. I prefer to use my prepaid because I can monitor my load credit expenses and having the postpaid is good for emergencies. Its best used for backup.^_^

Mine is prepaid. I had post paid before but I hate looking at my bills every month and they just come. I switched to having a prepaid one after I paid the post paid one so that I wont have any liabilities. Anyway, prepaid is better cause I can save more money is using that.

Telecom companies are earning more in prepaid but they are encouraging people to switch to postpaid because it guarantee that a subscriber will be their loyal customer. If you will compute the cost of a prepaid compare to a post paid, text and calls and other services in postpaid are more cheaper than pre-paid, but come to think of it, that a pre-paid subscriber can easily switch to another network and can only pay everytime they use their phone, unlike post paid, subscriber are oblique to pay a monthly charge.

i guess i would like to have post paid, coz u can fit in with your budegt unlike if u have post paid, you will just be wasting your load coz its paid at the end of the month without realizing that you extend your quota

Well in my case I prefer to have a prepaid right now to test my frugality. I used tp have a postpaid before but then it didn't work well for me.I was not that disciplined in making lots of calls and texts knowing that I can do it anytime and as long as I want to.MY main point is postpaid has a big impact to the budget of those individuals who are using it for personal use only. Postpaid are well applicable to those business men and those people working in big companies...

arunmails I will bet a zillion dollars I am the only one in mylot who does not have a mobile phone or cell or whatever you call it. after I pay senior citizens rate for my landline and pay for my internet and my copay on my meds I sure have no funds for expensive cell phones at all. we senior citizens are notr all wealthy , Gold Crest takes most of my social security and SSI checks to pay the rent and the board living me with the grand su m of o ne hundred twenty five dollars a monthe f or personal use. thats part of the reason I do mylot a lot but also I love being here anyway, its fun and I enjoy it too.

I only have one. And I am not a cellphone user, although I have one I only use like rarely or for music or applications only. So I prefer prepaid because I have control over how much will I spend for the month. I dont need to have load credits all the time and having postpaid will only tempt me to text and call which means more expenses.

I have two prepaid mobile phones but I only use one of them. My Virgin Mobile phone only cost eight dollars and after using it a couple months I could see why lol. People kept asking me to speak up or repeat myself because they could not hear me. Hubby and I just have our mobile phones so we use them for everything and we are on a family plan. We live in a mobile home and animals kept chewing through the landline underneath our mobile home. We got tired of that. My main mobile phone is with Sprint and so far they have had excellent service.

I have a postpaid connection which I use all of the time and for my general usage like work, business, acquaintances, family and friends. My prepaid connection, on the other hand, is from different telecom. I only use this with my family, intimate friends and love ones. It's a private usage for me.

Hi! I use two mobile phone with different telecommunication company. The other one is pre-paid and the other one is post paid. I prefer to choose post paid because in case of some emergency i dont need to go outside to buy a load for it.
