Do You Still Rent Movies By Driving To the Video Store?

I noticed more people then ever have started to joining online and movie rentals through the mail compared to making a trip to the video store such as blockbuster. I think Blockbuster may be partly at fault for this at least somewhat plus the fact that Netflix had a new and different way for people to rent movies. Blockbuster started out charging a full 4 day late fee for being 1 day late on movie rentals. This pissed many customers off. There's 2 Blockbuster Stores that have closed or are closing where I live.

I don't hardly rent movies at the video store anymore, we had two video stores in our town and they both closed. I've been hearing of other stores closing in other towns too. I guess they blame it on things like Netflix, and theres also Redbox, you can reserve movies online then go and pick them up at the redbox, you can usually find them outside any store, and they're cheap to rent.

Hey elmiko! I don't rent DVD's, but the bf does! He was renting them for every weekend in the Wintertime so we'd have something to do. But, most of the time he rents stuff that I won't watch because they're too gory, too much violence or just plain stupid! If there is something I want to see I have to tell him over and over or I hardly ever watch the movies with him!

I don't. I usually borrow some movies from friends and relatives. sometimes I just watch the video online if I am so lazy to go borrow from them.

i get the movies in the mail with netflix very fast. you shouldn't have not problems waiting that long on any movies unless other customers have them at the time.

yes! even though movies are available in the internet, there are times that my sister and I go to the video store and that's when the internet connection is bad and we cant download any movies. We dont like to wait.
