Are you afraid of Dying?

Since small i fear dying a lot and frequently ask my father some stupid questions... Why we can die? What happens to our mind when we die? Is there anyway to prevent death? What happens when we die etc.... Just want to ask you all whether you faced the same situation before. Or are you totally not afraid of dying since you were a kid?

I am afraid of dying. I don't know what's going to happen. If we're going to float into space or something. I always wonder, will we able to feel ourselves? How will it feel to cease existing? How will we be able to cope not being alive? How about our loved ones? It really strains me thinking about these stuff. That's why I just ignore the thoughts and stray away from them. I think that whatever happens, I'll just live my life to the fullest and enjoy every second of it even in the midst of problems.

I like your last sentence. We should enjoy our stay here. But don't be afraid of dying. I don't know what exactly comes next, but I'm sure that our existence continue.

To be honest I am afraid of dying because I am not ready yet. I still have so many things to accomplished before dying and i have not started yet. I don't want to die being a loser and have done nothing for myself. It will be very sad.

Yup. That is one of the reasons. One Chinese idiom depicts that everyone will die sooner or later, the only thing that differentiates is whether we die in honor or in disgrace.

I am not afraid to die but I am afraid of dying now. I dont want to die yet! I have so many plans and there are sop many things that I need to do and I should be alive when I do it. I hope I will be able to do all I want.

When I was young, around 15 to 25 years old I am very afraid of dying. But I soon realized it that all of us are going to that direction, so why should I be afraid of it. It just a matter of when and how. So be always prepare.

I believe "life" goes on and I believe the next phase is easier than this one. Nope. Just make sure I'm very comfortable in the meantime.

let's enjoy life when we still alive let's use it in a worthy manner that the life here when we are alive is a great memories for us that we will treasure until the end of eternity

Dying is a "zero state" as being viewed by those who really don't know the real score. Someone may also be afraid to die due to uncertainties on whether he'll go to heaven or hell. But as someone who b\believed Jesus as personal Lord and Savior will surely fell no worries in dying because he is certain that he'll go to heaven. John 3:16 says" For God so love the world, that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life". Second life is eternal while we have a temporal state of life. Don't worry everybody will die, the faith we carry will last forever, up there (heaven) or down there (hell!)
