Who's hotter??

When I first read the title of this article I figured that it was something the Democrats would do. Here's what I'm talking about: "The Senate District 56 GOP Party posted a Web video yesterday laying out its position on the hotness question. It leads with images of prominent Republicans such as Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, and Michele Bachmann; the soundtrack, naturally, is the Tom Jones chestnut, "She's a Lady." Then, there's an abrupt switch to the other side of the aisle. The theme is subtly conveyed with the strains of the Baha Men hit "Who Let the Dogs Out?" Photos of Michelle Obama, Janet Reno, Rosie O'Donnell and Hillary Clinton flash on the screen." Now, with the state of the Union doesn't the GOP think that the voters would rather hear about how the party would work to fix the multiple issues facing us? At this point in time my politician could have 2 heads and I wouldn't care as long as they had a plan to fix the issues concerning me. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100818/pl_yblog_upshot/minnesota-gop-republican-women-are-hotter-than-democrats

how sad. do they think all their potential voters are frisky young men who vote only for nice looking women? pretty patronising.

It's blocked as it apparently violated a copyright. I'm sure it'll pop up elsewhere eventually.

It worked but, for some reason it was tagged as being 18 and older and I had to figure out how to sign in to make it work.

I saw a portion of this video on TV yesterday, only the portion with the Democratic women. I found it totally offensive because they showed every woman in the most unattractive pose possible, with expressions on their faces that made them look like caricatures. Janet Reno is pictured on the cover of Time Magazine bearing the headline "Man of the Year" and Rosie O'Donnell is shown with a hairy chest. I guess I can assume the Republican women were shown in the most becoming poses, right? Who else did they show - probably Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and maybe Gretchen Carlson? I supposed Republican men consider them "hot" but none of the men in my life find them very attractive. That isn't really relevant, is it? This video shows how immature these people are. It's the kind of behavior that would get my middle-school-aged grandkids grounded! You're so right, with all the problems in this country and the entire world who cares what anyone looks like? Annie

Of the three women you mentioned Ann Coulter is the only one I think is moderately attractive and her personality takes away from it. I can't stand looking at or listening to Laura Ingraham and I'm pretty indifferent towards Gretchen Carlson. I don't really care though that they showed the liberal women in the most unattractive poses. The left wing media has frequently gone out of their way to find unattractive pictures of Sarah Palin for their articles.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that someone would do this. What surprises me is that anyone with any hopes of ever getting elected to an office higher than dog catcher would openly support it. Don't get me wrong, as a guy I'm more than happy to admire the physical beauty of conservative women and I do think Palin, Malkin, and Bachmann are all pretty easy on the eyes. I just think it's very low brow to attempt to sell a political philosophy with nothing more than physical beauty.

I couldn't find one for the video. Apparently it is no longer on the GOP website.
