Not literally like mumbling LOL but its like gettin' back your words. I was really not a fan of call center agents specially knowing that they finished a degree just to pick up calls or make transactions via phone. But pretty funny I end up being one of them... guess what?! I AM PROUD BEING ONE!!! And even glad that I made into this profession eventhough I don't have any experience as call center agent before. Do you have any experience like this or nearly like this? Please share and let us say to the world that WE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE ANYTHING OR ANYONE UNTIL WE PERSONALLY KNOW IT OR EXPERIENCDED IT AS WELL!

I hear people often say "I would never work in a fast food place". Well somebody has to or I'll be forced to cook! Seriously, any job is better than no job and if there wasn't a need for it the job wouldn't exist to begin with. I'm glad you like your job, just don't call me. :)

It's never good to judge in general cuz if all turns out wrong, it could blow up on your face. Anyway, it's great with the call center job you have. It's a decent job so cherish it. I was an agent so i know more or less what it's like.

NOt for me, till date!! haha =D SO far, i have managed to prove what i said, and unless i'm really not confident about anything, i wont be commenting at all.. hehe ^_^ It does not feel good when one has to eat their words, but at the same time, it's also good for us, because we learn a lesson here.. haha =D In order not to be embarassed, we will be forced to learn more, to avoid such embarassment, if not, nobody will bother to listen to us again, in the future.. hehe

I accept your view.We do tend to look down on several professions, until we are forced by circumstances to enter those fields. Its difficult getting a job, so if you end up working being a call center agent there is nothing to feel a bit down.I'm glad you are feeling proud and enjoying your work. There were several types of occupation which i thought negatively but as you grow up you realise their importance and usefulness.

I have done that. I was so mad and so upset at the same time when my father took side when his grand kids had a fight, he took the side of the kids who initiated the fight because the kid was his fave. So we argued and I told him I'll never set foot in our house again. But, after a year, I found myself sitting in the very living room where our argument took place.) Heck, you can never be sure what will happen next, so never say a thing as if you can see the future.:)

I think we have all had an occasion or two to eat our words. it is not something we can take great joy or pride in. It usually has to come with a bitter lesson to learn. I know this is true of me.

hi jhodie I used to say I want to be a nurse not just an a aide. but as a naive kid too young to have even entered nurses training I flunkedout so desperate for a job became a nurses' aide, and to my astonishment I loved it. So I wo rked as a nurses aide for many years and b ecame proud of what i did, even thou gh I was not a registered nurse my job fulfilled me and I made many friends as my patients thought I did a wonderful job. So I was proud of being 'what i was even if it was not a registered nurse. I helped others 'and was told I did a very good, even excellent job. what more 'could I need.
