First Sri Lanka make fun of cricket by giving no ball to Sehwag so that he couldn't make his century and yesterday Sri Lankan umpire gave two wrong decisions on the field as a result India loss the match and got out of the tri series.if this kind of cricket Sri Lanka will play then who will watch cricket.these kind of activity should not be ignored and action against such players and umpire should be taken. what do you think about this?

One best thing to do is not to give much importance to this kind of matches. Here true cricketing skills are not tested. Let us see how Sri Lanka performs all over the world in other countries like Aus, SA, Eng, WI etc Sri Lankans having local umpires' favor is not a new issue. It exists since decades. There were such things in the past too. It is also true that a person can tend to be in favor his own country's team regardless of what responsible position he is holding. So ICC really needs to introspect and correct some of the loopholes. Neutral Umpires, review of repeated mistakes, punishment for deliberate actions etc etc. I also feel that in Cricket it is not possible to implement UDRS for every appeal. So Umpire's role is crucial even today. They need to respect their job and function unbiased. Only thing is, SL should depend on their skills and focus on winning no matter what conditions are there or where they are playing. Otherwise their wins in SL pitches will have no value. And India should also focus on playing good cricket and stay away from controversies and name calling. Some Indians are not playing to their strength and that is also a reason for such losses. If Gambhir, Sachin, Zaheer come back then India will be a different team. Happy Mylotting!

Yes, you are right. But ICC needs to punish those umpires who constantly do mistakes and don't improve themselves over time. Of course, it should apply to umpires from all countries, not just Sri Lanka.

This is not just about Sharad Pawar. He is just a chief. ICC involves all other officials and meetings. In that anyone can raise the issue and present corrections. ICC chief can decide about it after going through the for and against votes. ICC chief can't take decisions single handedly. Not even US president! Senate has to approve. So it about collective effort from all, to improve the game of cricket. Happy Mylotting!

@ wismay yes you are right, wrong decision in Sri Lanka is kind of natural but this affects the moral of cricket.we indian love to watch cricket and worship it.when someone try to do non sense, then there should be punishment for that thing otherwise cricket will loose popularity and no one again say that its a gentlemen game.

Yes, I 100% agree with you. They seem to be jealous with India's success and talent that India team has got. That is why they are giving wrong decision against all the good Indian players, they are trying to demotivate Indian team. I think, BCCI should take some action in this case, otherwise, it will affect the moral of Indian players. Not only Sri Lanka team, even dhoni and Srikanth are doing the same thing by including a few useless players in the team (Jedeja, rohit sharma etc). Do you think Irfan pathan would have made any difference in the team?

yes, BCCI should take some action,so that this kind of thing not happen again in future.i agree with you selection committee should think while choosing players.jadeja is a real loser,i don't understand why i got chance all the time and not perform even a single time,he should be kicked off from the Indian team. Irfan pathan is a good all rounder he should be in.he bats well and its a long time seeing his swing bowling.

@ flagaz yes you are right umpire decision is final but in a state of doubt in mind that decision goes in favor of batsmen all the time.he made two mistake,if there is a single mistake then it can be ignored but two mistakes in single match can't be ignore as it was crucial match for both the team.

@ flagaz bcci can ask the ICC board to look into the matter and if the umpire found guilty then ICC must take action against him.

I think bad decisions are a part of the game. But having Dharmasena as an umpire is a recipe for disaster. He is not a good umpire and to top it all he has a distinct bias for Sri Lanka. I think he needs to be demoted and should be asked to move up one level before he is allowed to umpire international matches. Cheers! Ram

yes you are right he must be removed from international umpiring and should be allowed to umpire only in Sri Lankan domestic matches.or it is better for him to sit in home and do umpiring from there.

dharmasena should be given a somekind of a ban.. i wonder india will ask him to umpire in the ipl.. howver if there is a way players can appeal and tv umpires can make decisions this kind of things whould not have happened.. and also icc shold consider imposing a rule that only neutral umpires can umpire in a match..

neutral umpire should umpire in international matches then there should be less wrong decisions as they don't support either team.dharmasena should be banned because he makes lots of wrong decisions when he umpires for Sri Lankan team, other team suffers badly with his umpiring.

yes,you are correct., If this kind of activities are increasing then no one will like to watch those matches. Strict actions should be made against the players ,also umpires who makes too many wrong decision in a match with some intentions.

ya some action should be taken if those players who breaks the rules of cricket and umpires who do lots of wrong decisions in a single match because because no umpire makes too many wrong decisions in a match, they are umpiring for years and if they do,then there will be umpire intention behind it or he is not suitable to do umpiring in international matches.

i even don't like the noball given by the umpire .this rule of cricket shoud be change.

i don't think that this rule is going to change because it is important otherwise all bowler in order to bowl fast or bowl a bouncer will cross the line and it is not at all good for cricket.

Hello EARNER, The INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL should monitor all the matches. They should give some restrictions for the umpires who make wrong decisions often or they should be banned.I also think that neutral umpires should be sent for umpiring. If they are neutral, they won't support either of the two teams .This allows them to give decisions correctly. It now lies in the hands of ICC to prevent such incidents.

yes, neutral umpires should be sent for umpiring in the matches of different countries, then umpires do there work perfectly.
