feel better? Alternative healing is gaining ground all over the world. Yoga, reiki, naturopathic medicine, chinese acupuncture, taichi, homeopathy, massages amongst others. Personally, my first encounter was the acupuncture I have had on my sole which conventional medication was unable to help. It seems that I have a nerve that keeps pulling at me but mainstream medication prescribed me medication or painkillers which did not get to the root of the problem. I explored this alternative healing when I thought that acupuncture might help. I did and I remembered a needle (a new one each time) was inserted into my sole after I have identified the sore nerve on my sole and the end of the needle was attached to some electrodes. I was immediately okay after this treatment and was walking and leaping with joy. I know also of a friend who went through the naturopathic medicine and reiki for her cancer treatment. Naturopathic medicine uses botanical medicine and other natural means to help the patient. Definitely alternative healing is not for everyone and should be explored carefully. Have you tried alternative healing/medicine also? Share your thoughts please.

hi carpediem I always shudder when I see all the homopathic medicines prescribed to cure cancer and I have seen people spend way too much only to use the stuff and die three weeks later as they did not go to a doctor. for cancer I would still go to my doctor, for lesser ailments sometimes an herb can help but I have little faith in these things, raised in a medical family I have learned some things cannot be cured' by using herbs you need to go to your doctor instead. For minor burns I use aloe verde and for upset tummy I use peppermint tea.

hi Hatley, thus alternative medicine can only be of secondary help and not a primary one. It can be complementary and not the only way.

Yes I have tried alternative healing. When my son was a baby, he was diagnosed with bronchitis. His aunt, my sister in law, introduced black seed oil and to me he is now cured. When he took the oil, he began to vomit a lot and what was dispelled is phlegm. This is a serious illness so i do not recommend that people who read this post to try every black seed oil on the shelf. But the one i tried works and where I got it from is through my sister in law who is at present living in Egypt.
