I would be happy to visit the Philippines for some island hopping and snorkeling. I would not choose to fly into Manila. I would fly to Cebu Airport and then visit islands in that area which are safe. There is an island in the South of the Philippines which I would avoid going to. I have heard of some dangerous people that take hostages. Most people that live in the Philippines are friendly. It was terrible what happened to the tourists from Hong Kong.

Polices? Amteurs? Dude, stop trolling the ladies, it's not cool. Besides you're only making yourself a fool or even a FAIL out of this. Close minded racism is not the way to go. If you want all of us to converse with you well, at least talk like an open-minded individual Otherwise, you are BUTTHURT! Obvious troll is obvious..

Sorry, from this point, none of us would dare to go to that place, unless they can take a better measure to guarantee people's safety first. Why would I go somewhere is in danger? Would you still go to middle east for vacation if there is a war going on?

Just remember that it's an isolated case and again.. nobody wanted it. Unless you stop being butthurt and be open-minded for once, it will be all cool between us. But if you still keep at it with your current thinking, I respect your decision and I have nothing else to say. @Pinoys Chill, if they don't like to go to our country, fine let the others who deserve to come here will come. At least, there's one less crooked cop off the world.

I wonder if there are still going to be foreigners who are going to visit the Philippines after what happened. I would totally understand if they dont want to come here for awhile. It was traumatic for the Filipinos, how much more for the tourists.

visiting Philippines is not a good idea ,this country is too dangerous to us visitors ,they've killed innocent people ,it is better going to nearby country such as Malay ,vietnam ,singapore which is safer ,if in the airline we have blacklist of a group of airline companies we should avoid so it is same to this if have blacklist for the countries which we should not visited that must be Philipines.

Hi, I never been to Philippines before and if I have the chance to travel there,of course, I will still go. I do head about this beautiful Island,Cebu...I really want to enjoy the nice view there. It is best to travel in group and always be cautious on people surrouding you when you travel abroad. I feel sorry for the incident happened to Hongkong tourists and I hope Philippines government will look into this matter seriously and have beter protection against its own countries.

why not, the whole country is not in danger. There are just particular or specific places that are restricting. What had happened was not usually going on. And it can happen in every places in the world. And if you search online there is a lot of worst happening in other country.
