Hello Talida. Meat or vegetables ? I think my answer and choice is a bit of both. I don't think i could live for the rest of my life with just one of them, so having to make a choice would become difficult in my case. A well balanced culinary diet is the answer for a better health if you ask me.

Vegetables are more healthier than some meats. Vegetables have vitamins and nutrients that are good for our immune system. Meats are good for protein to help body functions.

Both. Meat is a good source of the amino acids your brain needs to create thoughts and memory. Fruits and vegetables provide necessary vitamins and minerals to keep your body and mind in good working condition.

To have a healthy body and mindset you need meat and vegetables. You can't really have one without the other. But for your meats, you want meat like chicken or fish. Most magazines that I tend to read say that you should have at dinner, about half of your plate vegetables (greens), a quarter of meat, and a quarter of grains, something like brown rice. Vegetables and meat both have good nutrients for your body and help move you forward. :)

Honestly, I would have to say Fruits. Although they aren't all that filling, they're very healthy. If you have one meal a day consisting of meat and veggies, you could easily be VERY healthy by having fruits the rest of the day. Apples, Oranges, Peaches, Bananas, Mangos, Dragon Fruits, they're all really tasty and very healthy.

Humans are omnivores - meaning that their natural diet is both meat and vegetables. It is quite possible to live healthily eating only vegetables but it is much more difficult for us to get the right kind of protein from vegetables alone. We actually need far less protein from meat than most people consume and very few people really eat an 'ideally' balanced diet. A good diet consists of protein, carbohydrates (which includes fats, starches and sugar), fibre, vitamins and minerals. This can only be accomplished by eating meat and other animal products (or by substituting their equivalents from vegetable sources) AND vegetables (which includes grains, nuts, and pulses). It should not be forgotten that water is probably the most essential part of the diet: without water, the body would not be able to make use of the nutrients or to eliminate the waste products. In fact, those who don't drink enough actually poison themselves with their own waste products!

A combination of the two ought to be good for health.Meat for the protein and vegetables for various other nutrients.Amongst meat i'd prefer the leaner ones like chicken and fish.I'd opt for fish over chicken.I'll eat all vegetables and fruits for their immense value to health.

A healthy diet according to science is a balance diet, a diet with proper nutrients at proper amount. When we eat more than what is required, there goes the problem. So some of us opt to have a vegetarian diet. Vegetables are good to eat there are vegetables with protein content so you don't have to eat meat anymore. Vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals same with fruits. Of course i will always choose vegetables and fruits.

Hi dear, Studies says food is considered equally good for health. The food we eat should proper and ideal. As we all know, there are certain food which is more oily, spicy and such things to be controlled. A mix of veg and non veg is can go with a 50:50 ratio. But depend on more veg is advisable. A balanced diet with the combination of these two will make more sense and inclusion green veg and fruits also is meaningful. Regards, Thank-s

Hello Talida; If you will ask me then I will answer both, why? Because there are certain vitamins that you can get from meat and not in vegetables and vise versa. People should have a balance diet and they won't call it balance for nothing. It should contain Carbohydrates from bread, rice, cereals and others; protein from meat, beans, chicken etc. and also Vitamins from vegetables. Vitamin B12 can be found in large amount in meat products and not much in vegetables so eat the right amount of these things.

It should be both. There are some important stuff(vitamins/minerals) in meat that are not in vegetables, and some other vitamins/minerals in vegetables that are not in meat. So having both, in the right amount, will make you healthy. Add a little exercise to that and you'll be really healthy.
