A major major question. And its too personal to answer, right? But how could a person answered the same question if he/ she really did not commit any major mistakes in his/her life? The same question was asked to Miss Philippines, Maria Venus Raj.

I guess all people commit a major mistake in their lives. It may not be a major mistake to others but it is a major mistake for you. Nobody is perfect that is why we commit mistakes and also in those mistakes, there is one that a major or something that changes an aspect in our lives in which we learn a lesson from it. Come on! Every one commits a major mistake and if Miss Venus Raj does not commit a major mistake before joined Miss Universe, then I will say that her answer to the question IS AN EXAMPLE OF A MAJOR MISTAKE THAT SHE COMMITS. Next time, when she will be ask about the same question then she should answer that. If she still think that her answer is not a mistake then she is still in the state of Denial.

Hi there LIENROSE!! I agree. We sometimes commit some mistakes but then it wasn't maybe that big. I am proud that among those candidates, Ms. Raj successfully belong to it. Sad to know that there still people who are not satisfied about what she answered. Lets just be PROUD!! Its our country's Pride anyway.

Yes I think we all make mistakes it's all apart of being human but if we learn from them it makes us stronger.

The biggest mistake of my life was choosing to live with a guy many years ago who was "wrong" for me but I didn't leave him until 2 years later. However, what I have learned from that nasty experience is that once I met someone better (my husband) I realised that not ALL men are bad. It's very important to move on..it just took me a long time to recover, that was all.

Ahhmmm... There is no major major.. %$*... JUST JOKING! Well the only thing I can remember about the biggest mistake in my life is that I wasn't able to spend more time with my dad, that I regret so much that there were a lot of moments that could had happened. Now my dad is gone and I can never do a thing to make it right. Happy mylotting!

She got tensed so she was not able to think of a better answer to that question rationally. Of course, she has mistakes minor or major, only she was not just able to remember those and wasn't able to relate it as well. She's over excited to be crowned in her wildest imagination so she becames careless on the final and the most important part of the pageant. So there..from her over excitement, she had lost the crown. She was even the well poised amongst the five finalist.

I made alot of mistakes in my life time but the two that I recall being the most the major one was going to a friend and telling her my feelings over a computer instead of in person that resulted in a big argument fight and the end of a long time friendship...The second one was making 2 wrongs out of a right and letting my anger get the better of me....My third one was taking the anger in my grieving out on my husband and helping push him out the door...

this is a major discussion now. you are right, if she didn't commit any major mistake in her past, how could she answer. but i think she could still answer that, i think she did answer the question but she didn't elaborate at all nor did give any clear explanation. if she could have said more than what she had told on that time, i am sure she could have come up with better answer. only that i would say that we filipinos don't generally do well with interviews like other nationalities. even if our bet in those contest speak english well they still failed to give a good answer.

The biggest mistake that I ever made was not working hard enough at school. I achieved good grades, but never better than just average. Luckily, I got good enough grades in my A Levels to get into a University, and when I got that place I vowed that I would do my best to get the best grades that I possibly could. I have finished my first year with outstanding grades, and I am confident that I will be able to finish my second and third years with at least as good grades, if not even better.

She said she really didnt consider those mistakes, she considered them challenges. In ABC news, they criticized her answer saying that admitting ones mistake would have been the best answer but we also cant say that if the person doesnt consider it as something major.

The biggest mistake I made in my life is losing a girl whom I liked very much and I did not not do nothing to save it. This is a very big mistake deeply affected my life, and it will never be made right even if I do everything.

I never did try harder when I was in college, I almost became a cumlaude but some low grades really pulled down my chances.. Regarding the ms. universe question, its really an easy question to answer if the person answering it wasnt too stressed out speaking english while formulating an answer..

The biggest mistake I ever made was moving away because someone else wanted me to. I was relocating for them and not for myself. I lost my appetite from depression but then I finally realized I needed to do what I felt like doing. So I moved back home :)
