First of all for those who Believe in Jesus If we believe in Jesus Christ, make a profession of faith, and can we ask him to forgive our sins..? Now for the People who Believe in SCIENCE can we achieve immortality through technology or medicines?Science has proven that the human body was built to live forever. They can't figure out why it doesn't.They can explain what causes a "natural" death and why we cease to be alive but they can't explain why we die... Now for those people who Believe in KARMA Many Religious people says that We have to pay for whatever we had done here on Earth after our Death. If this true they why GOD would send us in Hell/heaven why cant we stay here on Earth forever to improve our KARMA

I don't think that we are able to live forever in the current state that we are in. However, I do think (because of the fact that I am a Christian person) that it is possible for my soul to live on forever. I was brought up to believe that after we die we either go to heaven or hell or purgatory. This means that our soul goes on in some way after we leave our mortal body. That said, I don't think that there will ever be a way that science can make a living thing and their mortal body something that will go on forever.

Each and every species has a specific life span. We, humans have improved our living rate with the help of technology, say, our average age has been improved from 45 years to 65 years now. And there are some tortoises who can live upto 400 years at a stretch. Yet, no one can be immortal! The reason why we can't continue in the same body is a million dollar question. Science and religion, both are trying to explain it in various ways. But a real questioning mind will not be able to accept them in total. So, they want belief in the first point and only then, one can accept their facts. Otherwise, all these religious faith cannot stand!

Hello friends! I believe that we are born from ashes and we will die and become ashes once we die. We are born naked and will die naked as well. But that is not important here. I believed that we live in this world just temporarily. Our final destiny relies purely on how we choose to live in this physical world. And as a Christian, I also believed that we only passed once on this earth and the way we want our lives to live is also the place we want our next life to be. God is true to His words. Though He has the power to rule and do everything but still He gives us to choose which life we want.

1st John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." The above verse answers your question very clearly. Indeed we can always ask forgiveness and can be forgiven by God. All we need is repentance and it should be real repentance. God knows our heart and mind so he knows if we are sincere in asking forgiveness.

No Jesus or Science or Karma could help you, unless you impose your imaginary fit hatred for a perticular race and start mass killing probabily in some 'gas chamber' or in 'concentration camp' and begin World War III!!!

I believe science, but I haven't heard anyone had proven our body is built for living forever. Where did you see that? Doesn't our body get older and lower-functional with time elapse?

I can see your point of view from all 3. I also believe that we do somehow live forever. Somehow I believe that after our souls pass on that somehow it does come back for another chance. Sorry if people do not get what I am expressing, but I truly believe that although we do not know it we were other people at some other time and we are here to improve our karma and or get another chance. I truly do not believe there are that many souls to go around so it is sort of a recycling process. Call me crazy but this I do believe in.

very interesting and intriguing question. First of I want to know as to who wants to live on this earth for ever. If so does he or she want to live as a child or as a youth. Difficult to answer? Is it not? Then what is the purpose of knowing whether we can live here permanently or not. Leave alone the scientific research who say that man is made to live for ever if so on what basis?. The scientists who proclaim that theory have they done so by living for ever.Whether we believe in Karma theory or not the fact seems to be that there is continuity of life. Personally I believe the quality of life not materially but as a human being only counts. Assuming that we are going to live for ever what about new births.Do you want permanency for yourself alone or for all. Then imagine the population on earth?

I do believe in God so I believe that life is eternal, but not in the bodily sense. Due to the fact that I believe in heaven, life continues through the spirit. When it comes to our bodies dying or leaving this earth we live on now, it's impossible. One day it may be possible to live forever but that just isn't meant to happen. Everyone has a life, no matter how short or long it is. We have that time to make our life meaningful, have children, and be a good person. Of course we have to make our mistakes as well, but life is meant to end on earth. So do we live forever? In a sense yes, but in the bodily form I hope that we never live forever because that's just not natural.

Yes, we were created to live forever, whether we accept Jesus or not. If we do, we will be in heaven until the new earth is made or we will go to hell..I experience enough of the latter than to risk living that way 24/7...

Yes, we can live forever but whether we will or not is another question? God tells us over and over in the Bible about everlasting life. If we want it, we will have to live up to the conditions spelled out in the Bible. We can all meet the conditions they are not impossible to meet. It all depends on whether we will learn about the conditions and whether we will live and practice God's requirements. I hope we cal all meet in the forever!
