1 Corinthians 10:13 (New International Version)
13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
It seems to suggest there is no excuse in giving in to temptation ...

to answer your question, i would say no. i don't know much about the bible and i won't be able to say anything pertaining the verse you provided here.
but it would be easy for other people, even me to search this verse of the internet.
How about you, do you know much about the bible yourself?
