it seems lots of water intake is a very good idea. Also, the general rule seems to be: "any calorie intake has to be burned if the weight is to be constant" This seems to be violated in many ways such as: 1. lots of carbohydrate intake (i.e. lots of sugar compounds) 2. eating with "heavy eaters" (i.e. socially induced over-eating) 3. hunger threshold (i.e. getting hungry easily is psychol...

interesting. It seems, starting with the root causes: - hate (resentments of the past etc.) - fear and insecurity (people and nations afraid of the others) - greed (for comfort, wealth and fame) - apathy (e.g. 'not my responsibility) - lust (e.g. 'got to get load of this and that ...) What do you think?

Journals state the pancreas get overworked trying to digest food as the rest of the body sleeps. With every other system of the body at rest, pancreas overworked and cause a brain-related seizure experienced as a "nightmare" I'd say a prayer o...

Interesting point Carrie. Isn't it amazing how we change about how we feel about different stuff at different times of our lives?Personally, since my exposure to poetry is very little, I feel there are many positive areas in poetry that I would still find "new" and interesting. But I guess that kind of feeling happens very rarely to me e.g. when I heard it on FM radio. Perhaps if I co...

ruperto commented on a news article called Pilots missed Twin Cities by 150 miles _ but how? in u.s. governmental news.

hmmm perhaps the autopilot system should at least sound a buzzer or something. With the advanced state of auto navigation using GPS and plane automation, it's hard to think they missed it. If they were on auto-pilot, I have a suggestion (with humor) .. how about an auto-voice prompt from air-borne computer saying: "This is your autopilot (not captain) speaking to the captain, I'm out'a her...

the much needed self-improvement happens not during happy times...

Inspired by the success of many famous people I ask: "how do we create the best situation to self-improve?" Perhaps the answer could be: "Not while everything is going very well." "We are truly...

$1.42T is less than Obama forecasted in February (2009?)

I am no expert on the economy. But the US deficit mentioned could be a huge issue. Instead of posting my opinion, may I openly ask:1. Could this be caused also by the overall increase in...
