I recieve an email saying that my respond has been deleted due to the discussion that has been deleted by the owner. It is very sad to me. I hardly stay online because of my study and here goes my cents - go away hahaha (I mean ho..ho..ho) So what I'm going to do..I'm a slow poke and hardly make any cents a day from this site. Should I stop responding to anyone? Why they delete the cents/points everytime the responds got deleted? Is that very harsh consequences to someone who take time to respond? This is one of your mylotters, signing out! Have a goodnight!

First off...WELCOME TO MYLOT!!! Second...I must agree with the others...read the Guidelines, Terms of Service, Earnings Guidelines, FAQs as soon as possible. Since you're only earning a few cents a day, you won't be losing very much money. I remember when I first started I was only earning a little bit a day. So, I decided to maximize my effort!!! Every day BEFORE logging onto myLot, I first went to the Guidelines & read them to refresh my memory as to what the rules were. I found that began to increase my earnings as I was skipping over the bad discussions & recognizing the good discussion where I could earn more. The more you say, the more you earn. I also started looking at discussions that were responded to by veteran myLotters. If there weren't many responses from members who had been here for a good length of time, I'd skip over that discussion & go to one that had more member support. After a while I began to pay attention to what discussions that were deleted pertained to & began to know BEFORE responding which discussions were going to be deleted. Every now & then I'll find a discussion that I know is going to be deleted, but I decide it's worth the few cents I'll earn to say what I feel the urge to say. Yes, It may get deleted, but the owner of the discussion will get a copy of what I said. Since you've indicated that you don't have a lot of time to waste here, why not spend your time more wisely & read the Guidelines over & over until you learn them??? I think you will find you will earn more with less effort!!! Good luck learning & earning on myLot!!!!

Yes, myLot owns the website. In my mind the member who starts a discussion is the owner of that discussion. myLot still has the ultimate control over ALL discussions!!! Learning to choose the best discussion for you is one way to not get deleted responses. So, it's up to you to learn & obey the rules & regulations of this site!!!

hahaha funny, I said "The discussion was deleted by the one who started the discussion." so if that means the mylot delet the discussion it self. I should receive an email saying that "You receive the email because you responded the discussion that against the guideline" But this is not what I receive. So bare in mind.... I'm talking about the discussion deleted by owner meaning the one who started the discussion.

The one who started the discussion well of course the owner of the discussion. Mylot is only the owner of the website. I hope you know the difference of what Imean.

Hehehe....but those few discussion can make a dollar, do you think? A dollar would not be a dollar without a penny. I know the guidelines thanks for the remainder and pulling it off. To make it clear again, the one who delete the discussion is the owner meaning the one who started the discussion. They deleted their own discussion.

no no no we do not delete our own discussions, mylot admins deletes those discussions that break the dos and donts of making discussions, you have it all wrong, we cannot delete our own discussions at all. go back and read the guidelines once again and the questions and answers I am not scolding I am trying to share the things I have learned over three years here. if you really know the rules you will not lose your own discussions to my lot admins nor will you respond to an iffy discussion that shows its breaking the rules.this is all to make it more fun so uou will not lose earnings and get all discouraged. cheers.

what is sad is that you quite evidently did not take the time and patience to read the tos the guidelines here, the rules of dos and donts of discussions so you can pick out only those you see have not broken any lot rule. all you needed to do was learn the rules of making discussions then you will respond or comment whatever term you wish to use only on the discussions you see are good discussions that have broke no rules. Now come on look at a discussion with its responses and comments as a tree with branches okay a poisoned tree is cut down ie a discussion is deleted so what happens to the comments and reesponses branches on it? they also fall too. in other words the software on mylot has no way to just sustain the branches ie the comments and responses as the tree that contained them has bit the dust. so know the rules then check that the discussion you wish to respond to has not broken a mylot rule. a good clue McNme1 is if there is only one response or no response it shows us my lotters know this discussion has broken a mylot rule and we will not respond. do not respond to iffy ones and you will not lose your earnings.

Thanks for the scolding. I will make you clearly that "the owner, the one who start the discussion is the one who delete the discussion." If do's and don'ts I think I know how to follow those.

It is very sad when our response to a discussion deleted. I feel what I do is in vain. My response is alsofrequently deleted. But I have never experienced my response deleted because the discussion in the clear by the Maker of discussion. But discussions are deleted by admin.

HiMeNme1, Please don't beat yourself up over a deleted response, I have no doubt that it has happen to many members, old and new. Just keep looking for the right discussions and respond to those. I have had a few deletions myself, but I don't sweat the small stuff, I just keep on keeping on. If the discussion you respond to is not within the guidelines, it will get deleted, but that is no fault of yours, your were just trying to support a member. There is no reason to beat yourself up for supporting members. You must keep a positive attitude, if you plan on sticking around myLot for a while. you will have good days where everything will be fine, but you will have some not so good days where something may get deleted. Take it as a grain of salt and move on to the next positive day.
