I am surprised to hear you only have 1! Tattoos can be very addicting. I have 3 attached to each other on my lower back, 1 in between my shoulder blades, 1 one my left arm, and one on my ankle. Asking where to get them is a personal preference. Since you have one on your foot, you are obviously okay with people seeing them. You can get an anklet on your other foot, or just something on your ankle. If you get one on your lower back you can put it low enough that it is even covered by a bikini if you choose. Putting on on your arm puts it more out in the open. When I wear short sleeve polos you can still see it sometimes. Fortunately, it isn't a problem where I work. It does matter about your job though. Will they allow you to have visible tattoos, or will they make you cover them up? Think about what you want to do with the rest of your life and ask if that job will care about tattoos. Then think about your wedding dress. Do you want to see your tattoo in your wedding pictures? Most people who get them say yes, but there are some who say no. If you don't want to see it, make sure you put it somewhere that will be covered by the kind of dress you want. If you are still unsure about whether or not you like a specific location, then look into henna. Henna is a semi-permanent tattoo. They don't do henna in all the colors like tattoos, but you could have a design drawn in and test it out for about a week. Depending on who does it, that is about how long they last. The last bit of advice I have is don't ever get an impulse tattoo. You have to live with it for the rest of your life. Take your time and think about it. This is not something you want to rush into, and then wind up hating it forever. Good luck in your choosing!

I don't have any tattos but I think the ones on the ankles, top part of the hip or across the shoulders look good. I am sure all three of these spots hurt like heck. I have seen grown men cry when they getting them on their backs, but it did not bother the women. The ankle and foot have to really hurt since all you have is bone and nerves.

A tattoo is a mark made by inserting pigment into the skin; in technical terms, tattooing is dermal pigmentation. Tattoos may be made on human or animal skin. Tattoos on humans are a type of body modification, while tattoos on animals are most commonly used for identification. Tattooing has been practiced worldwide. The Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan, wore facial tattoos. Tattooing was widespread among Polynesian peoples, and among certain tribal groups in the Philippines, Borneo, Africa, North America, South America, Mesoamerica, Europe, Japan, Cambodia and China. Despite some taboos surrounding tattooing, the art continues to be popular all over the world.

Wow, your foot is a really hardcore place to get a tattoo. I think that on your back is a great place for a tattoo because you don't get to watch the needle at all while you are getting tattooed.
