For the guys.. why do you wear earrings?

For the guys who have their ears pierced.. why and what about in the earrings that you like? Is this some kind of a statement for you, like 'being cool" etc? I just cannot think of any other reasons why a guy would like to wear earrings... I do not know many people (guys) who do but im just curious as to why a guy would want to wear an earring(even if its just a stud earrings). Thanks!!

I am not a guy but i think it's their way of being into fashion. I was also wondering why this kind of fashion statement? while do they think they look cool on it...hmmmmmm

i am not a guy but it probably is a fashion statement. there are some guys that could carry an earring or two but some others cannot.

Hello, Chiyosan. You don't know why? Because they think it's cool, which is not. Most common reasons are peer pressure and sometimes they just go with the flow. I don't like men wearing earnings. It's untidy.

There was a time back in university when I thought wearing an earring was cool. So I had an ear pierced and a stud in place. It worked for a while. And then I grew up. I took it out and started to take notice of how I looked in public. I never put it back and I think the hole has already closed up. So for me, it was just a phase and a curiousity thing.
