It was 6 mos ago when my son was attacked by his schoolmate and punch his head using a knuckle and caused deep cut on his forehead. My son was immediately rushed to the clinic by his classmates and I was called by the school nurse to inform me of my son's injury. I rushed to the school clinic and brought my son to the hospital for treatment. I went back to the school the following day to inquire what the school's discipline office has done about my son's nearly fatal injury. I was assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted. And after two weeks I got a call from the pricipal's office and they told me that they expelled the student which I think is the right thing they did. I thought that insident was over, but to my surprise the boy who punched my son's forehead using knuckle is challenging my son to a fistfight. I told my son to ignore the boy. Why would the parents of the boy allow their child to bring such deadly weapon at school? A student does not ussually bring knuckle to school unless he has plans on using it to harm or assault somebody. And to think that he is only 14 years old. For the safety of my son we went to the police station and blottered the boy.

sorry to hear about your son, glad he is alright. yeah some parnets dont teach thier kids the proper thing to do, if one of my kids had done that to another kid i would have whip my kids butt. we had something like this happen to my daughter who has cp, a group of five boys started to rocks and sticks at her. ive always told my kids dont fight unless you have to. she told the boys to stop. well it ended up the main boy push her,she pushed the boy back, he pushed her again. lucky one of her friends was there. he told me she hit the boy with a right hook. (tought her to box) well the school tried to say they couldnt do anything since it was off school grounds, but if she would hit him with a bat then they would throw her out of school. we got the cops invlove with this, my daughter and her friend had the same story, the five boys five different story. the cop told us if she didnt break the boy jaw she came close to do it, she didnt get into trouble but they charge all five boys with hate crime, and assult with a deadly weapon. now the funny part about this, the boy father told the cop that people always pick fights with his son. now the boy was black and so was the cop. the cop told the boy father this " well i dont think a little girl who is twice as small as your son would pick a fight, and you are just mad because your son and four of his friends started a fight with her, and she kicked your son a$$, he is still getting charged.. lol

Wow your daughter is a brave girl. I always tell my son not to start a fight. I don't know why there are kids who are not afraid to get in trouble.

There are kids that are not really afraid to get into trouble, as if they want to prove something.

Yes as a parent we must do all we can to protect our children. I hope charges were given as if not this boy will possibly kill someone someday. I hope you son well and hope that he can cope with this traumatic experience as I am sure it could lead to future startling effects. I also hope the parents of this bully does something to seek some help as this is a serious offense and if they do not do something about it they sure will have their hands fuller in the future with this child as he no longer will be considered a child in eyes of the law.

Thank god that my son is doing good now. I think the parents of this boy doesn't care about their son. Maybe that's why he is acting like this. I think he is seeking for parents attention in a wrong way.

Have you talked with the parents of the bully? He sure has a problem that needs immediate treatment..as for your son, i suggest you enroll him on self defense classes, just as a precaution should it happen again.

Yes I talked to the father of the bully. I think you're right maybe he has a problem that's why he's acting so weird. As I talked to the father, It seems to me that he doesn't care about his son's behavior.
