what kind of cat should i have?

I'm partial to tortoise shell calico myself. But if you're going to have more than one, I would suggest orange tabbies. They seem to get along pretty well.

I have advice on the kind of cat to not get if your only going to get one. Bombay cats are almost all black,tend to be very lean, and hyper but as a person that has one although they are great cats they are not solo creatures unless you are going to be around 24 hours and 7 days a week. they will destroy your house, if your going to get a Bombay cat get two or at least get some other constant companion. My cat had very serious behavior problem prior to my friend and get cat moving in he never used the litter box and would always wet my bed he repeatedly attacked his pet sitters and was even thrown out of kitty day care. this was because he wasn't well adjusted. Since mu friend and their cat moved in, he's at least 150% better.Just a word of warning.
