I have gone through a good number of posts on making money and to my surprise they are all related to PTC, GTP, GTR et al. there are so many ways we can make quick cash provided we have the right knowledge. I would like to bring your attention to investing in equities, bonds, IPO's, F&O's, commodities, mutual funds and the likes. And the risk is not always high, one can choose from a variety of options to choose from depending on the risk involved. The only thing required is knowledge about the market moves, leading us to make sound decisions. Once we are ready, money would no longer be a problem. We can either take loan if we are very confident about our knowledge or make small amount of money from so many different ways and start investing wisely. Then from there on we would not be the ones who would be working hard, but our money and the stocks in which we invested wisely. the returns I am talking about vary from as low as 15% of investment to as high as 500% or may be more. this is where millions of dollars come into picture, and is as easy as it could get of course with the risk involved. We do make mistakes but it take just one good trade to balance 10 losses and bring along good profit. And with such a great community as MyLot is, handling trade of couple stocks would a bit easier. I hope I did not over simplify it. It is just that the potential it carries is quiet promising.

Actually stock market investment should not come under make money online. It is a traditional investment source. Buying stock on margin is very risky, best to use money that we can afford to lose. For those who do not know about stock selection, it is better to buy into index fund, so that they can make money when market rises and minimize loss when market crashes.

If you would have told this a few years ago, I would have definitely believed you. Since the dematerialization all the processing was transferred online. Before, those who were in the stock market were the only ones who had the first hand information and now almost anyone in the world is updated instantly. This was made possible entirely due to the Internet. When it comes to speed of update, let me put it precisely that the organizations using super computers are acquiring the information just a few milliseconds before everyone, same as the pit traders of the past, and putting the difference to their advantage. And when it comes to risk, then whatever work we do, online or not, it has certain fraction of risk involved. whatever job we do, if we don't perform well, we are bound to loose. isn't that so.

well i agree with arehan with this one haha well the us stock market dropped suddenly in a day because of the internet traders. with the current stock market those with extra dollars should invest because you can buy stocks cheap. well they say the old saying goes, "sell high, buy low"

Yes I agree that investing in the stock market is another way of earning money online. A couple of years ago, I was actually on the verge of investing. I already created my account with a broker, and I was watching and listening to all equity advice on radio and TV in preparation to go to the market. Unfortunately, the market sanked and I lost some of my capital. Even now I still am trying to recover my losses.

too bad that it happened. And that is the one big thing which is keeping me on guard. I have come to know that one should not follow too many sources and practicing patience with good decision keeps us in the correct direction. But when the market pressure starts tolling, none can stand for long. One peculiar thing I noticed about Lord Warren Buffet was that when market was falling and everyone pulling their money out, it was him who invested in failing stocks and to everyone's surprise the stocks he chose eventually went sky high. He didn't follow the market moves daily and instead studied the management of the company and its performance and bought it on this basis, only when it went low, contrary to others. The plus point he had was that he started investing around his early teens, and doing all sorts of jobs even before that.

We can invest in stock markets for earnings. Though it is a high risk activity as we can't be sure when the market or the share price of any company is going to rise or fall. But with experience and understanding we can bring out profit. I would not recommend anyone to invest loan money as the money needs to be in the market for some time to get profit. And if the money doesn't come in the expected time then there might be problematic situations.

Yes, well said. I would keep the option of investing a loan always at bay, but when I feel like pushing the limits I would consider this as well, only if I am very confident.

Never mind, it was even mind boggling for me when I came to know about it earlier. At first I could not make any sense of what was going on out there, of course due to my ignorance in that field. About the prospect of making money, it completely depends upon the amount of knowledge we gain. And when it comes to knowing, ones should always keep oneself in the process of learning. Otherwise, like most of the beginner investors, one would just keep investing and drowning their wealth. They just don't bother about what is going around in the markets and are clueless about the causes and effects. So being cautious and always in a state of learning would help a great deal and bring in a great fortune. The best thing I can tell is just not to believe anyone and and everyone, this is the first mistake we do. Approve information only from the official sources and always lookout for the inside information. About cheating, many people have assured and reassured that it is definitely not gambling and should be treated perfectly as business. It is the same thing that happens in any market, which is buying a commodity at lower prices and selling at higher prices. Which means it is just and just trading. Things get complicated when the prices change unexpectedly and once you come to know all or most of the reasons, you will come out as clear winner. The first thing you need to do would be to learn and then learn and keep on learning, I cannot stress enough. It should be a perpetual process. You can get many books online from basic to advanced levels. Then you should start analyzing the market, eventually you will be confident enough and can start trading effortlessly. Which goes without saying that you are still learning. You will get to know it all by yourself, and I advice that you be the only person you believe in. prudence and knowledge should be the motto. Best regards!

Yes, I agree. The stock market is a great way to invest, even if it can be a bit risky. I have been doing it for quite a few years already, with small investments, but they pay off has been great! It is good if you are interested in this market though, since it makes it easier to stay up to date with what is going on.

Its great to see that you got incredible returns and I wonder if you are doing this all alone for that much period of time. Most of the distant people I have come to know, either started early due to prudence of their parents or just happened to be in company of friends who already were trading. Sorry for your disappointment, since I am still learning the moves and will certainly stay away from the market until I make sure that I am capable of minimizing the risk. One advise for you though, there are certain inflections in the market which can happen 4 to 5 times a year following a particular pattern and if could harness just one of them, you can literally make fortune of a lifetime. this one is easy to say and hard to apply kind of suggestion, but this is what exactly I will be looking for in the time to come.
