Nowadays, most of the foods that we enjoyed eating have so many food preservatives which can alter our own physiology and growth. I noticed that year by year, there are so many emergence of chronic diseases. What do you think about the foods we eat guys?

I think that it is "safe enough." We would all roblal do better eating organic foods however. Most of our foods have so many antibiotics and steroids and sprays that although they may not make you sick, they are probably not the best things for us.

Yes, that is right snowy22315. Those chemicals used on our foods may not instantly kill us but they may slowly change our body's physiological aspect. They may turn into a new kind of disease in the future.

Personally I think that foods here in the Uk are perfectly safe, I also think that ther is far too much pressure on people and firms about sell by dates etc. We are getting completely molly coddled, there is far too much pressure on us regarding cleanliness - I'm not advocating dirty living conditions, don't get me wrong. But my old granny used to have a saying @we all have to eat a peck of muck before we die@ - in other words a little bit of muck won't kill you. we are getting to the point that p[eople will be so discinfected and ultra clean that the tiniest bit of dirt will be a nightmare situation.!

Hmm, I can see that you also have a point. No one is to die perfectly out from impurities. Fearing a little bit of muck would also compromise your mental health as this may lead to OCD and other mental conditions, or even stress. Thank you so much for your time.

I agree with you.Our foods are packed with added preservatives to help give a longer shelf life to our products. While I do think it is wrong I can see as a business woman why food production companies need to do it. To live a healthy life i think we have to take a step back to the days before fast food chains and when it was cheaper to eat freash healthy produce. the price if good quality anf fresh fruits and vegetables mean that sometimes it is cheaper to eat crappy foods, and in economic times like these, people wouold chose the crappy cheap food over the more expensive but healthier options any day.

THank you so much beauty factor. I agree with what you said. Nowadays, it's secure if we process the foods by ourselves coz we know how we do it. As for me, i process my foods through cold processing them such as coconut to produce a virgin coconut oil.

I think we have to be very choosy in regards to what we eat so that we can avoid health issues which are caused by the foods we eat. The closest the foods are to what nature produces, the better. As an example, bananas are best eaten fresh and ripe without ice cream.

You are right formidexo. In fact, all the things we need to stay healthy and fit are just around us. Preservatives and various numbers of food additives pose a threat to our health and growth. Thank you so much for sharing your thought.
