which digital camera is the best in the world?

I use a Sony Cybershot. I used to sell cameras and in my opinion the best brands are Sony and Canon. When you buy a digital camera, make sure that you buy one with a rechargeable battery. Those that use the AAA batteries really suck the juice out of the batteries and you will find that you have to carry extra batteries with you all the time or risk losing shots that you want. Check out the returns area that all of the retailers have. Typically, the returns are not due to a defect. The defective cameras are sent back to the manufacturer. People buy cameras and then have buyers remorse. If you do buy a return, make sure that you buy the extended warranty just in case there is a mechanical problem. Same advice for televisions as well. Generally, the returned items go through two or three markdowns before they are sold. Good luck
