doctors working when they are sick

When ever we get sick we visit doctor to get cured.But what will happen when doctor himself i sick and treating others,won't it transfer the disease.What do you suggest?

well that is why you dont come into work but if you must you must wear mask and gloves and such. but i have no experience when it comes to icu patients or those with weakened immune systems. i think theyll be forced to not go to work.

Doctors don't go to work when they're sick. They have other doctor's to fill in for them and they will notify you if you have an appointment that day that the doctor is out and they will have another doctor for the day. That is what happened to me when my doctor was sick and out for the day. Doctor's also get shots I assume to be less sick when treating patients, etc.

That's why they invented the mask. They are also people and they know that when their bodies can't handle it, they need to rest as well. I think you shouldn't worry about them transferring the disease because you have your own disease which is why you're there in the first place.
