Earthquake in India!

India

OMG! My hostel building just shook twice! Thank God it didn't fall. I was working on my laptop at around 1AM and I felt the table move. First I thought might be my head spinning cause I'm up so late. But then it I felt the whole building move after a few seconds, I rushed to my hostel mates to tell them about it, none of them believed! But a few minutes later it started coming in the news that there has been a 6.5 earthquake in Northern India!

Oh, that is quite strong, 6.5. You were saying Northern India. Is that New Delhi region , or more closer to Nepal ? I hope there won't be serious disasters. One of our myLotters from Indonesia was also saying that there was avery strong earthquake in one of the provinces in the country, quite strong too !

Each time I read or hear about an earthquake my thoughts return to my own experiences. The few I've experienced may not be big and life threatening. But they were equally scary and frightening as I think of my children, my family and the people around us. Life is so fragile and how much we should always value it and try to make life as enjoyable for everyone as possible. My prayers are with you guys.

Wow! I'm glad you are all ok. Earthquakes are increasing as of late. They just seem to occur just one after another.

Wow, that sounds kinda scary! I'm glad to hear nothing bad happened to you, though :) A few years ago there was a small earthquake here (I think they said it had been 2 or 2.5), I remember I was in the living room watching TV and suddenly I felt my chair shaking... I found it so weird, it didn't even cross my mind that it might have been an earthquake at first, I only put the pieces together, so to speak, after they mentioned it in the news.

Good Evening dear Zeethegr8 , i am really happy to hear that you are alright and that there hasn't been any injuries , what about your Hostel friends , have there been any injured friends from your Hostel , has it been any loss or accidents registered because of the earthquake ? Well usually a six point five earthquake its not verry rough , but there is no easinnes at such a high rate of scale , aniway in roumania thirty years ago there was a seven point seven earthquake that had made several buildings from the capitala of Roumanie collapsing and a verry much and large number of victims , and not talking about the injured person , people loosing the house . But the worst of the natural disaster its the water inundation or even worst the Tsunami. I wish you health and i am hoping that you and your friends are safe and unharmed. Have a great evening dear friend.

That has to be really scary. I hope no one was injured by this. There are some people who sleep through almost anything. I also hope your friends after hearing it on the news now know you were not kidding.

Glad that you are all right, earthquakes can cause a lot of damage, loss of lives and properties etc, it is really a natural disaster. Maybe your hostels mates should be more alert next time because time is important for escape.
