Your beginnings in the 'paid to' world

I first heard about 'paid to' sites several years ago, in some article on a blog if I remember correctly. I did some research and ended up joining a couple of PTR/PTC sites (I don't even remember what they were called, hehe), but eventually gave up after a while because I didn't earn that much and had a lot of other things going on at the moment, so I didn't have time for that. Then, a couple of years later, some time I was short on money, I remembered about those PTR sites and decided to do some more research and get active in that 'business' again... and well, from then on a lot of things have happened, and I've found some more ways to get extra money, such as traffic exchanges, survey sites, or myLot, for example. What about you guys? How did you find out about 'paid to' sites? What was the first site you joined? How were your experiences when being just a beginner?

Helium articles. Sites that really pay kind of articles. I found Mylot that way and I found sites that mostly pay with gift cards.

It's an interesting site. Lots of articles. They changed the rules, so I left because I liked things the way they were for making money. But people who have gone there since I left seem to be happy. You need to be a competitive writer. I'm informative, but not competitive.

Oh, I see. I don't really consider myself a competitive person either, so maybe it's not really a place for me, but I'll check it out nonetheless. Thanks for the info!

this is my second day here in mylot. I find it very interesting and i've learned alot here. I joined sprintwealth team philippines and i will be able to received my payout later, i wasn't expecting that much though its just a lil buck i invested $29 for my membership. I am still looking for a site that i could earn money without investing coz that its pretty risky.

I read about it on a blog somewhere I think. Then I thought about it for a while and started to do some research and waited quite a while before I actually did anything. I wanted to learn all about scams on how to recognize them in order not to get scammed, which I read was very common. And that was a good thing, so far I have only been scammed once (by Triond).

It wasn't easy to start with but quite a bit of research paid off and continues to develop. I've developed quite a few income strings and I'm continuing to expand. As I go, I'm writing a blog on what I do and it's been quite useful to a lot of people. Try it out at: http://cashinthearmchair.blogspot.com/ and good luck Des

Hi there, I don't think we're supposed to name our sites on posts but I've put mine on my profile if you want to look. I use quite a number of sites to make money and I write about how to do it in my blog Cashinthearmchair. Des

I think mentioning sites and such is ok as long as we don't post referral links.

Well I have tried survey sites and found that all the work you had to put in to get just a small income was not worth it. I then tried CashGopher which started from MyLot and that pays okay, But only when your computer is idle. Then I came here, still waiting to see how the income compares here. What sort of payments do you get daily?

I'm a member of a couple of survey sites too, I don't earn that much, but it's always nice to have a little extra money. I don't think we're allowed to discuss our earnings here on myLot, sorry :(
