I think it's safe to say I won't ever watch Idol again.

I'm all for Randy Jackson, still.. but Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler? I think it's great that there's a lot of musical diversity in the judges, but I really don't know how well it's going to work with the show. Just seems like too much to me! What are your opinions?

I wonder why they keep Randy jackson since he's obviously the worst judge among them all (Ellen last season was close second). They should have keep kara since she's doing great job last season and she's very relevant to current music. Jennifer and Steven are great additional judges for me. Jennifer is well known of her performance (she's actually the more succesful version of Paula - dancer and subpar singer, plus she's succesful actress). She also great on doing her job assisting latin night at season 7. Steven Tyler would be interesting since he has a long career in the music industry and have a really great voice and long career streak with Aerosmith. Of course no one will replace Simon's sarcasm and Paula's babbling, but I wish this new judges (except Randy who only lines I can think of is yo dawg everytime he speaks...) more coherent and relevant on giving criticism

I will just watch it out of curiousity. I always like fashion so I will be watching Jennifer although it will suck since she will be behind the desk. I will be very sure that I will miss Simon Cowell.

me neither. although i've stopped watching it religiously a couple of seasons ago. i still watch it sometimes when it airs but i don't get excited about it anymore. i think that the show's has run its course. especially now that simon's not part of it.

I'm with you. People can say whatever they want to say about Simon Cowell but he added an element to that show that neither JLo or Steven Tyler will replace. I always thought that Paula was the extremely nice one. Simon was the extremely mean one and that Randy fell right in the middle. I can't see this working but ratings have been going down for some time. I wouldn't be surprised is this wasn't the last year for the show.

I am not so sure about Jennifer spicing up the show as really she is not a great actress and well many other singers have risen since her time. I think in the beginning it may be okay but then I do not think she will have the humor to pull it off. But all is okay with me as I do not know who has been on for the last couple of years as the show is no longer as good as it was several years ago, so I do not care to watch anymore and now, not so much.
