Sell Me Your Original Articles

I am planning to purchase articles for my various blogs. I am planning to purchase articles starting from $0.01 - $0.08 dpending on the content. Do you think there will be someone who will actually sell their original articles to me?

You're kidding, right? I don't doubt that there are people from third world countries who will jump at the chance to make a bit of money, but many of them can't write worth a d-mn. And this is not a slap at third worlders. Many people, third world and elsewhere, who are desperate for a better life will work for almost any price. But those who can't earn more than a pittance for their writing usually have a poor grasp of English. If you're satisfied with that, then go for it. Nobody who writes well is going to work for that kind of money. Even Triond pays better than that because if you have a good backlog of articles, develop a following, and know how to use SEO, the money will keep trickling in. The same on any other writing site, no matter how poor the rate of pay may be. So you're putting a one-time payment of a few cents against the chance to draw long-term passive income from articles.

I think the answer to your question is yes people will sell you their articles for that price. I also think they could make more money if they knew what to do with them. Of course that depends on whether they are good articles. You bring up an interesting business model though. If you can buy them for that cheap and turn around and sell them on other sites for a profit.

You bring up a good point that people should be aware of when they sell their work so cheap. That the person who buys it is going to make money from their hard work. Unfortunately, that happens way too often. Someone sets up a site, offers pennies and resells for dollars. They haven't done any work, but they make the profit by taking advantage of people who are desperate to earn some money. Don't be a sleazebag, jacknicholas. It isn't necessary to screw people in order to make a living. (Not saying I think you plan to, just hoping you won't.)

Well I will be paying them right? So its not taking advantage. They could sell it at a higher price to other buyers if they want. Its their choice. So if they sell it to me and I make a profit from it, its called business. Its not unethical to buy at cheap (as long as they are willing sellers) and making profit from it.

Only a fool would sell original articles at that price!
Expect to pay around $5 - $10 for good quality original material of 300 - 700 words.

You think so? Why then would good writers submit to Triond (as an example) for free without the assurance of an income?
I have to try this. There are thousands and thousand of writers who are not making money from their original articles.
My price is too low I think but here in myLot, members outside US, Canada and UK are making less than $0.08 a day. Don't you think there would be no myLotter who would rather sell me their articles?
I will keep this post updated as soon as I get my right pricing matrix.

no way. your rate is way too low. most pay per post sites pay bloggers a minimum of $2-5. if you want quality content (SEO worthy) you have to be willing to pay more. good luck! ps: you can hire writers at eLance, Freelancer, or ODesk. i myself earn money writing articles, blog posts, or ebooks and have regular clients at eLance. it's a great site to earn extra cash :)

they are lots of people who do but i charge $1 to #$ per article
