My Miche Bags

I realized tonight that I have yet to share my experience with my new obsession, the Miche bag. This is a wonderful purse that I am not sorry I bought! For those of you who don't know, Miche is a purse that allows you to change the look of your handbag by simply putting on a different 'shell.' There are three base bags (black, cream, and brown) and there are 100s of shells! You can even make your own custom shell, but that is a little more expensive! Check it out here: http://www.michebag.com/ Well I 'recently' got my first miche bag--I got a black base and 5 different shells! I also just ordered 2 new shells that I can not wait to get! So far I am not sorry with this bag and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome new purse!

Thank you quita! :) I'm doing good. I'm enjoying my classes this semester, trying to figure out my class schedule for next semester (that's a pain!) I'm working part time as a crossing guard at the school where my mom works (it's a LITTLE extra money, plus it gives me a lot of reading time!) :) What have you been up to?

Oh, I don't envy you with all those classes ! The job sounds decent enough and it's money. I have had to have double bypass heart surgery and have been in the hospital for several days. I'm surprised you didn't get discussion asking for prayers for me. All in all, I'm doing fine. Sore and achy but better off for the dr. who caught this as early as he did.

Before I looked at the site, I wasn't sure what to expect. The description reminds me of a purse I had when I was much younger. It was called a Bermuda Bag. The handles were varnished wood. The body was cloth and had buttons along the edges of both handles. The covers just buttoned on. My grandmother liked to sew alot and made my sister and I tons of bag covers. That was my favorite purse. I wonder where it is now. Nowadays, I don't carry a purse most of the time. I just can't find one that fits my needs. My sister is a purse-aholic and I forwarded her the link. I am sure she will jump on it like you did!

Bermuda bag - So cute and trendy, at least in the 80's it was.
They were so popular in the 80's and now they are back I guess. I found one online for almost 200 bucks!

Oh I don't think that purse would be big enough for me! hehe. It's a very cute simple design, but I would definitely prefer a Miche bag (they aren't 200 bucks!! hehe).

I've never heard of a Bermuda bag, that'll be something interesting to look up! :) I hope your sister likes it too! After I bought one I've seen 2 or 3 other people with it! lol

I love the bags but I don't have one. I can not afford to buy one but I'd love so much to have one with about 5 or 6 shells. lol Good luck with your business.

Yeah I need to go easy on buying the shells, but it's hard to when I see such a great deal on ebay for a cute shell! lol

I have a fanny pack and that's it. I don't really need anything except a place to put my wallet and many of my outfits don't have pockets. I always hated purses because I didn't get one until I got that time of the month and didn't have any reason to carry one except for that. At 11, I was the only one carrying a purse. Everyone else started at 13 or older. I don't do make-up. I do have a check book that I have in there, too. My receipts go in my pack until it gets so cluttered and full it's ridiculous. As I got older, shoulder bags hurt my shoulders and my back plus they kept banging into my hips. Then they came out with fanny packs. Lightweight and can be worn in a variety of ways, front, back, etc. Glad you like the Miche bag. If I wore make-up, it would be handy I suppse. If I really cared whether my bag matched my outfit or not, it would be nice. As my rosacea is getting worse, I should wear make up to cover, but most make ups make it worse and the ones that don't just show up my wrinkles worse. So unless I got rid of my wrinkles, it wouldn't be all that great. I would have just went with the black and been happy. Maybe you should send your review to them. Never know, they may or may not do something for you. It would be fun to see you on a commercial. Glad to hear from you again, you must be busy. Hope you're coming along on your quest to make money for that trip. I'm hoping you make it and have some spending money for emergencies or fun to spare. Take care and have fun witht he miche bag. IT's not my thing, but it's fun for you and that's cool. I would have saved the $ from not buying that to go toward the trip. I'm not buying a lot of things these days to pay bills. Take care.

I don't carry make up in my bag right now because it's summer here and REALLY hot! So my make up (and probably the bag) wouldn't last very long! When it gets cooler out I may carry some lip gloss or something like that. I love the space in the miche bag...I can carry my camera and phone (both have their own pockets) and I can carry my wallet, coin purse, a book, and my pencils for class. It's very helpful! Luckily I found a really cheap place to stay for my trip, and with my new part time job I should be fine on my trip, even have some money left over to get out once in a while there. I sent Best Friends my workshop application, and once I hear back from that I'll send them my volunteer application! :) Thanks!!!

Oh gosh! It was over 100 today! It won't start cooling down for us until the end of October! Can't wait for that day! Will make my job much more enjoyable! :)

Terrific! Glad you're going to be able to go to the Best Friend's workshop. Glad you'll have enough $. It's still hot there? We're 60s day and 40s night. I found a backpack worked better for college, esp. once I injured my foot and needed crutches. My cell phone clips on my belt, never had a camera for college, my wallet had a coin purse then. My pencils for class fit in my shirt pocket. Still wouldn't need a purse. Glad it's useful for you.Take care

If it has enough pockets inside, and is the right size, even better!

It comes with 2 pockets (where I keep my phone and camera) and it also has a zipper compartment on the other side. And some of the shells provide 2 extra pockets on the side of the purse. If that isn't enough for you though, you can get an organizer that fits into the purse (I don't have that, don't need it). And I also think it has enough space, for me at least. But if you don't like the 'classic' size, they also have a 'mini' size and a 'big bag.' So I really think there would be a size for anyone! :)

Do they have an affiliate program? I am glad you found a product you love, and the business side of me says, that all fashion conscious women would want at least 10 of these...great opportunity. Cheers.

I don't believe they have an affiliate program, but I'm not 100% sure. Yeah I would have more than 10 of I was rich! lol Luckily I am finding great deals on shells on Ebay! lol I just really need a closet organizer now to store my shells, but no one seems to be selling them cheap on ebay (they all more expensive then in shop).

They have an affiliate program, but if they are cheaper on E-bay, then it isn't as great of an opportunity as I thought last night. That is one thing to watch for, if you can get products cheaper on ebay, then from a home business consultant, it usually means someone buys them in bulk, to earn the qualification bonuses, then front end load them off on ebay. Something to watch for, if you are wanting to get into a home business(direct sales or MLM) it is usually harder to build a business where that happens. Super glad you found a bag you love!! Sincerely and With Appreciation.
