Yesterday, my girlfriend and I went to this flea market to browsing around, and she gonna shop some cheap items. I tag along, and one or two times, there is a random individuals who stop us, and ask us if we need a laptop computer in their bag. I simply refuse their offers, because how would I know whether or not that laptop is a stolen item? I just can't this chance, even though they repeatedly offer good price. I simply walk away and ignore them. I saw some people might take a few minutes to look at that computer since it was cheap, but for me, I already have 2 laptops at home, and I won't need another one. Even though I need a laptop computer, I rather shop at the store, maybe refurbished items. I just don't want to get in trouble.

I Would have to agree with you to not buy a laptop at a flea market. With those you would definatly want the warrenty that a legitimate store offers, also the fact that you will know its not stolen.

It is not from flea market individual stand, it is from those random people, most black people walk around the flea market area, and stop people whoever looking for a laptop computer. I just won't take chance to buy a stolen item.

Hiya KP, Not only that if you were to buy one from a Fleamarket and something goes wrong they will give you no guarantee that you will get it repaired either. At least in a proper Shop they will give a post sale Service.

well, yes. i would agree with you. i remember a friend who found her stolen laptopn in such a place and she brought cops with her and they arrested the owner/seller of the laptop. sometimes we just have to know that cheap is not always good. we could be buying stolen stuffs and of course that means tolerating stealers to always steal from people and resell the electronics.

I have heard of people being taken in by the sales pitch of sellers like this, having the machine demonstrated for them, handing over the money and being given their purchase packaged up in a carrier bag, then once they get home and open the package, they discover they've been sold a block of wood or something else about the same weight as what the computer would be! Be careful in that situation..if something sounds too good to be true,it usually is...

i think some time we buy troubles in cheaper rates. I think you know what I meant. Why that person wants to sell that laptop. That is sure if the person has bought that he will put that on sale for a higher price and not cheap like that in a store by whispering in your ears. Don’t go with him. You did correct.
